I'm surprised. The word "Mac" was thrown arouns and the timeline hasn't devolved into "Hurr durr Windows 5ever hurr durr Macs are glued togther". I'm glad TOP is gone. Place is a lot more civilized.

@zeldatra now while I usually recommend windows over mac, the only real reason I give mac such a hard time is because for the equivalent spec-wise, a mac can cost 2-3x as much.

@artisticmink it's manageable, I guess, but I only liked using it on tablets, since the design was intended for touch-screen, or at least the metro side.

@flamingpandaomg Metro is actually a good start menue if used as such. However, i hope they really coming to their senses and make teh desktop bootable as long with not shipping business and server versions with metro enabled.

@artisticmink the one thing I will give Microsoft is they did try to make the design for Windows 8, Windows Phone 8, and Xbox 360 similar so the experience would be familiar to people.

@flamingpandaomg Question is, what has my pc to do with an xbox? But yush, i get whatcha mean. However, i'm not angry at microsoft i think. More at the people making metro-styled web- and blog designs which are popping up everywhere. Ghuu, so ugly.

@flamingpandaomg I know ~ It was more a rethorical question. "Doing things like apple" is not always a bad idea. Especially if it comes to design. However, i think that are completly different devices with completly different purposes. And mashing them together like that (Xbox live windows integration, guuh..." is not the best thing they can do in my eyes.
