  2. "say cloud, why do you always wear those Gillette sleeveless jackets, even now that it is so very hot outside ?" ... Because I have an airconditioner build in *steel face* ... "Really ? How ?" ... Magic :+

  3. @thelastgherkin Either you are a genious for thinking of this. Or I am a grade A roughcut moron... I hope the truth is in between

  4. @thelastgherkin reminds me of https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N1n5XqwUkYw ... Especially "If money can't buy happyness, I guess I'll have to rent it" ... Who rents puppies ?!? And where can you rent them from ?

  5. @adiwan I'd wear baby blue or medieval boy pink. I have a problem with poop brown.

Tuesday, 21-Jun-16 19:17:28 UTC from web in context
  6. @adiwan Would you wear medieval boy pink then ?

  7. @dolus ... I am suddenly reminded of that one weird show about yellow people who had a lizzard problem, untill they got hungry and did something so they got a bunch of snakes to eat the lizzards, untill they got hungry, so they got a bunch of badgers or something... And pretty sure it ended with gorillas overrunning the town ? ... I kinda think I dodged a bullet just now for some reason

Tuesday, 21-Jun-16 19:08:42 UTC from web in context
  8. @dolus I never said it was a problem. Aside from that I should probably make new tea if I want to consume it.

  9. @adiwan I should get this bundle only for the T-shirt. It should serve as a really good closet-neckbeard detector.

  10. @dolus Yeah but then I would end up with a really really hungry mantis and no spiders within like 2 hours. Besides if I wanted to get rid of the spiders ( I see no need to actually ), I would just make more tea. It seems to be a fairly effective method of erradicating them one by one

Tuesday, 21-Jun-16 19:02:40 UTC from web in context
  11. @dolus A pet mantis ? Why would I want one of those ?

Tuesday, 21-Jun-16 18:37:45 UTC from web in context
  12. Little baby spiders everywhere... In my socks when I was doing the laundry, in my tea when I was making tea. I am not afraid of spiders, in fact, I like them. Heck, I felt bad for the spider who died the death of boiling water. But I should probably make myself some new tea.

  16. @ovrclockd Well, if you want to talk about that... Yeah, I know pretty much every big American news organization is trying to work 'their' narrative into their output. Perhaps that is why my un-american brain goes over a news article/item like that very differently. I hope everyone can see that in the first couple of seconds as they open with "family fun, decided to use a gun". I guess those who can not see who/what is trying to manipulate whom by pushing a narrative is how the real problems emerge.

Also whether or not you want firearms in the hands of children, you have to make sure that firearms are respected for the proper reason. Reason being that in the right hands they are tools to take someones life, or your own in the wrong hands. I do not think that any political viewpoint ( except maybe anarchism ) would see it as a bad thing to make sure the proper respect is enforced... It probably the "how do we do that ?" answers that make people antsy

  17. @adiwan A VolksWagon T3 bus in the cellar ? Does your dad kinda look like this ? https://pbs.twimg.com/profile_images/209786850/photo_lrg.jpg

Monday, 20-Jun-16 14:43:09 UTC from web in context
  18. @adiwan hooray for dad's :) ( and possibly father's day, and all those acclimated presents over the years that make them very well stocked on tools ). And yes, therein lies the problem, knocking over a box in the attic/cellar can probably kill you after enough father day presents. That said, yes I would like way more awesome tools. But the only thing that I actually fancy is a dremel like tool.

Oh, also, because you live in your parrents house ( last time I checked ), your dad probably also knows, or has a general idea of, how a lot of wires and pipes run inside of your house... Double hooray for dad's :)

  19. Someone just linked me this vid when we were talking about guns and gunsafety. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oGCKFzGAfQ0 . Lets not focus on the gunsafety at all, I find it very entertaining that there are at least 5 things in here that are "extremely american". The first one is within the first 10 seconds of the vid, linking "family fun" to "shooting a gun".

  21. @adiwan I see I am not the only one who saw those vids a few days ago and went "Wow, you know, I really would like to own like EVERY woodworking equipment that guy has, I would make myself so much awesome stuff".

  22. @taknamay Well, RDN's wordfilter just gave me the idea to put mashed potatoes with mango's on the menu somewhere. So that's cool :)

  23. @taknamay I really hope noone ever thinks Reddit is a representative sample of anything actually. Reddit is it's own subdemographic of some very vocalized people.

  24. @firecat4 I know what you did last summer, don't worry, we all have our hobbies, I will not tell on you or make fun of you. But you have to promise me that you will not make fun of me either. ... Something like that ?

  25. @weerosie I am rather easygoing with my brunches on sunday, if there are about 2 out of the following I am a happy man. Toasties; scrambled eggs; croissant and jam; One of those hard fancy buns; Omelette; "Happy New Day"- style soup; a nice glass of OJ ( none of that from concentrate stuff ); and a lack of pants.

Usually the fist and the last though, and I am not complaining :3
