Oh great, another one of those

I guess I have to wait a week before I get to know what happened.

  5. @archaeme Too bad waiting is not one of my strong suits. Also I am seeing more and more CPU abuse on Reddit boards ( especially PCMR ) just because Ryzen is not out yet.

But the way some people are talking about it ( mainly online, and I know of at least one guy who can not seem to shut up about it ) you'd think Jesus was coming.

  6. @archaeme Ohyeah, good old AMD. I almost always forget about those lovable brand the moment we're beginning to talk about high-end stuff. Mostly because they no longer seem to make high end consumer-grade hardware, and have settled nice in the middle field. I do really hope 2017 is the year that stuff like RYZEN will give Intel a run for their money though. Aswell as whatever they are doing with GPU's

  7. @archaeme I remember it being hyped a metric truckload back in 2000 or so, it was supposed to be the absolute enterprise sollution for datacenters and whatnot, but I think what happned in the end is that people just instead prefered to buy Xeon powered machines for the same workload. ... Also Intel Itanium was HORRIBLE with 32 bit anything. But what I mostly remember were the sale forecasts which were about as dissapointing as the WiiU was.

  11. @critialcloudkicker ... I can advice you to... "you'll" makes no sense in this case

  12. @nerthos I can advice you'll at least visit once before... ehmm... before Trump annexes it or something, IDK.

  13. @nerthos Federation ?

  14. @nerthos Nono, I was refering to my old bunkmate who got Mexican food from a food stand in Mexico. Food carts in countries that sell 'abroad cuisine' are usually more whacky than the stuff we in the Netherlands call "Chinese food"

  15. @lyrica For instance @mushi is a mod now and lest we keep him entertained he's banning a random user

Tuesday, 31-Jan-17 20:01:31 UTC from web in context
  16. @lyrica Way diffrent than 4 years ago

Tuesday, 31-Jan-17 20:00:06 UTC from web in context
  17. @nerthos You should try it one time, as in actually from Mexico. Take care not to order from a non-reputable source though. Believe you me when I say you do not want to share a bunk with someone who got salmonella or something terrible like that. Serves that ensign right for ordering at a cart which screams "clean me FGS" just because the line was shorter.

  18. @nerthos This is my daily reminder that I am the only person I know that can eat Mexican food without suffering for it.

  19. @awl Cool, and it works for you. I'd probably go insane trying to make it though.

  20. @awl Howmuch of a pain is it to play nice with your PC then ?

  21. @nerthos Annoying notification about Android 6 ? I am pretty sure that is carrier dependant right ?

  24. @nerthos I only remember some vague faces of teachers I had. And then there are my favourite teachers of which I had about 3. I reckon everyone remembers at least some, no ?

  25. Apparently one of my co-workers is keeping track of how many times another one of my coworkers is mentioning she is vegan. I know for I just found the book used to keep track. This is going to be one of those Baader-Meinhof thingies now isn't it ? ( quickly rolling through the past 8 weeks & pages, average of 5 I'd say )

  26. @maiyannah Can that even be called an "SD card" at that point then ? Might as well be a "Nintendo-innards speciality storage with SD card form factor"

  28. @adiwan Oh it is THAT bullFrankerZ again >_< . Only this time around Sony is not around to say "it looks diffrent", Heck I even remember the adaptor's name by head, it was the PhotoFast CR-5400

  30. I have no reason to be as happy as I am right now. The only thing I did was find an UltraStar Initial D .txt file with all the information required.
