@cabal What ever it is, that program their kids told them to run instead of running the Internet when they connect on American Online. (Sorry, I hear this from my parents all the time, too. Sad testament to the level of computer expertise in my family to think that I somehow wound up the family "computer person".)

I don't know if I've somehow managed to maintain some level of self-control when it comes to ponies, that it just wouldn't be right to watch the show without my honey here -- especially this week's episode -- or I'm just that severely adverse to all things iTunes, but I am somehow managing to keep from buying the early release of this Saturday's episode. Somehow.

@colfax My group was removed (at least I think, it's not there anymore), and it was the only one that had any people in it. I'm sorry if it didn't seem "worthy" I guess, but it was based off of a joke. I can understand, just a little disheartened. (!pett)

i just wanted to say bye. This'll probably be the last time yall see me around here. nothing wrong with you guys i just can't have time for RDN anymore. It's been real fun. I had some laughs, met some awesome people and learned some things i wished i had never known. All and all i'm glad. So to you guys on right now and to all of RDN have wonder lives and never stop being awesome. Thank you and goodnight.

@astra I've been considering turning a couple old Atari 2600 carts I have into external SSDs just for laughs.

@colfax Ohhh, now THAT would be awesome! Especially if you fit a PC into an Atari 2600 case -- I see a few people online who have done it -- and run the drive connector up through the cartridge slot, so it'd connect with the connector on the drive when you plug the drive in there.

I just thought, perhaps Pinkie Pie is in a state of quantum entanglement with an alternate Pinkie Pie existing in a parallell very-near-future universe. Whenever this counterpart experiences an unusual or dangerous situation, our Pinkie Pie undergoes uncontrollable simultaneous resonance. Don't give up on that scientific explaination yet, Twilight! (Even if it is sci-fi physics)

@zach Well, at least it's not the petition that told Hasbro to "unclench (their) butthole" that everyone was initially signing. :/ But, seriously, wait for the facts to come in. Right now, we have nothing more than anonymous sources, rumours, and people using already-disproven hoaxes -- Hasbro's removing The Last Roundup from iTunes supposedly also being in response to protests -- as evidence.

@leonkfox Yes, I just was reading the vague article that showed up on EqD while I was in my meeting, and watching the drama detonate over "an anonymous but reliable source" on another website. I do agree that holding out and waiting things to settle -- and for actual facts to come in -- is the best plan of action. There are already more than enough people screaming, having panic attacks, and basically turning the fandom into its own worst enemy. (On the bright side, WeLoveFine should see a heck of a sales spike today.)
