@drinkingpony Luckily my family is smart enough not to need that kind of help. Taught my mom well.

@drinkingpony In the USA people won't even discuss with the person they're b-thumping.
-
@drinkingpony I’m talking about the over the counter morning after emergency contraceptive pill.
-
@drinkingpony As far as I understand it's just ice (water) with methane embedded in it.
-
@drinkingpony It has a few gruesome images but in no way glorifying. It is "real". I mean the pictures shown are mostly in photos that are in a file. The kind of photos the police has to make on a crime site. The kind of horror you derive from the abnormality of the views of the interviewed serial killers is on you. But for the most part it is not of the horror genre. It's a crime thriller on the surface.
-
@drinkingpony *deep inhale* The series is about two FBI agents in the late 70's starting to investigate psychological profiles of serial killers in order to look into other serial murders that happen at the time. It has excellent character portrayals from everyone.

@drinkingpony Well, gotta start somewhere~

@drinkingpony Make pants optional nationwide and I'll be your Secretary of Something or Other.

@drinkingpony I think it's more local to RDN than widespread.

@drinkingpony I have access to an industrial shop vac but it is way too strong and loud. It will suck out everything off the table.
-
@drinkingpony with "vacuum " I mean vacuum cleaner, the household device. I was sloppy with my language
-
@drinkingpony I don't want my CNC in a vacuum. There would be no pressure difference to suck out the shavings. Also the motors would heat up.
-
@drinkingpony Electricity always goes from a higher to a lower potential.

@drinkingpony It is a mini series that aired on Cartoon Network. It's about two boys (two brothers) who are transported into a weird and eerie old-time-ish fantastical world in the woods and they try to get back home. It's only 10 episodes long, so it's worth a binge.
-
@drinkingpony I don't get the reference but whatever.
-
@drinkingpony You mean like the eternal question of whether one is a hot s**t or a cold turd?
-
@drinkingpony Thanks. Bosses/Superiors/People don't value hard and good work.
-
@drinkingpony The red ones we in the States call "Swedish Fish." Never seen black liquorice ones before, though. Those we'd probably call something terribly offensive!
-
@drinkingpony Looks like licorice. More likely salty licorice (German: "Salzlakritz", or named by its shape "Salzhering").
-
@drinkingpony C'mon, by the time you play 9d chess you're already hyperaware that all consciousness is one eternal vibration, anyway, maaann....

@drinkingpony I was shopping today and I wanted to do the same as Al Bundy in a "Married with Children" episode but my shame was too big and I want to shop there in the future https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0642435/mediaviewer/rm1515504128

@drinkingpony I don't know enough about them to say, but I would be concerned about them being prone to allowing gunk to grow on food more easily and breaking down on the shelves. That would be a terrifying mess.
-
@drinkingpony Excuse you, it's a new millennium, shes can totally have black dicks now.

@drinkingpony No packaging is best packaging, but it's not always realistic. Shopping bags are the least of the problems when half of the products you buy regularly are in plastic containers. Beauty and hygiene products are the worst, like tampons with plastic applicators, cheap disposable razors (because people are afraid of safety razors for some reason), makeup containers with "free" (garbage) sponges and mirrors and pretty much every soap and shampoo bottle. I wish there was a vending system for soaps. Food is a whole different problem due to health and safety concerns and doesn't seem completely solvable. Plastic is one of the best ways to preserve perishables.
