@celestiaforequestria Well, with the promotion and all to tier 2 within the ISP I work for, it has been hectic. And with all these people calling in trying to get their devices connected and then telling them we don't repair the computers, I have to listen to them whine and complain. #notcool

!bronylon So guess what? I'm heading to London over the weekend anyways to visit my sister's, but since she's going to work on Saturday, I can't go. My parents did a complete 180 on their decision and said since they didn't know you guys, I wasn't allowed. Well, there went my weekend.

@adorable Let's just say I can do basic admin stuff, but even I find LFS hard to compile because I had to hunt down every damn dependency on the internet for the ingredient, plus whatever dependency it needed to run that dependency!

@cabal Huh. I've been following the project on and off for quite a while now, and I don't recall the dependencies ever not being catalogued in full, but depending on how old you are (I won't ask if you don't want to say~) that probably doesn't date back as far as you're talking about. That... euch, that would've been unpleasant, but fortunately it certainly isn't a problem with current (B)LfS revisions. :)

@cabal Huh. That'd be... pretty much the same time I started following it. Maybe after, if anything (started following in '06, and given we're about a year apart, that'd mean you were either 16 or 17 then, slap-bang in the middle of that time period). Now I'm just confused.

@widget I just don't see how this makes the site any sort of useful or intuitive. It's really awful and bleak looking. Instead of just seeing what I want to see I have to click 2 separate little tabs to get to my subscriptions. 0/10 would rage more.
