I don't hate Bernie Sanders, I don't think he's a terrible candidate, just not the right candidate.

@nightmarenarwhal Policy is one thing, and definitely an important thing, but strength in debate is almost just as important.

Also on the topic of legalizing marijuana, "let's legalize it in a few states and see how it goes, then if everything doesn't go to papaya legalize it everywhere" is probably the most reasonable opinion I've heard on the topic.

Bernie Sanders voted against the Brady Bill what, five times? And he voted for a bill to grant legal immunity to firearm manufacturers. He also was opposed to bills allowing raised visa caps, allowing more immigrants to move into the country more easily. Sure, it's easy to go by the things he says and think he's great, but you gotta look at the things he's actually done too.

@nightmarenarwhal Most of his policies are idealistic mush. He's made too many promises that sound great but just aren't realistic. I prefer a candidate with moderate but realistic goals than one who lives in the clouds.
