@mrmattimation I don't see him having a British accent any worse than him getting nervous when time travel is mentioned or him controlling the hourglass for races. It's not like he'd be flying around in a police box or using a sonic screwdriver. Actually, more than likely, he'll be doing things like carrying a mop, plunger, and/or whisk.

@thelastgherkin that's only because Weird Al's celebrity isn't from any character he does, but himself. Weird Al is a character in and of himself. I'm sure that before Discord was created, most people would recognize de Lancie for his work as Q. obviously the situations aren't the same, and yeah Weird Al is a bit more over the top than Discord, but they are definitely similar

@snowcone didn't I just say that it's because Weird Al is a character in and of himself? obviously the comparison isn't 1:1, because a pony based off de Lancie himself wouldn't be as interesting. Weird Al, however, sells himself based on his "real" self.
