@pianissima I found it helpful to sketch ECMajor's work to see how he did things, but I now use constructive anatomy and thumbnailing to design poses. You're right - we have all of history before us to learn how to draw from, including modern artists and old masters.

@loveydoe yeah. I spent like 2 months doing mlp anatomy so I can draw stuff. Its great to adapt styles etc and see what you can add to it. I have a big library on my cpu of i think over 200 now poses that ive drawn out, 75% of them are mine, others are re-sketches of poses i enjoyed. It makes just practicing so much faster not to mention those commissions that you really dont want to do

Applejack got shot in the leg and died, Rarity's a drunk, Pinkie's locked in a mental ward because her guilt drove her insane, Rainbow Dash lost an arm in the fire, and Fluttershy lost her larynx because for some dumb reason she tried to destroy a flaming troll doll by eating it!

@metaltao I was practicing blending pink with this one. Normally in the areas where heat concentrates most. I know I should of lightened the pink a little though.

You know that thing I said about vandalism yesterday? Well, what I did is basically something like this: Draw on free paper and stolen pencil. (borrowed, never returned) Done drawing, walk by the official board of notifications in my university. Take one of the tacks I saw on the board, leave it there, I took a pic of it, but since I'm such aware some don't like WIPs (I think it was) I continued to work to make it digital art on it until I pass out.
