@jackzhang I've found people who're friendly and supportive, but that doesn't make me any more neurotypical. It just makes it easier to be "different". Unless that's what you mean? You "feel" less aspergian because people make more of an effort (than the average NT) to understand you?

@ceruleanspark I have to question the use of the word "cure" here as it implies there is something inherently wrong about it. Whenever people talk about "curing" Aspergers it just comes across to me the same way as hearing someone talk about "curing" homosexuality.

@toksyuryel Yeah. A lot of aspergers people find the term "cure" offensive, but it's mostly thrown around by NT's who /only/ see it as a handicap and aren't really thinking about what they're saying. Given that my aspergers has, for better or for worse, helped define who I am right now, a cure would more or less literally be executing this iteration of me.
