  1. I'm somewhat relieved reading news. This year selling fireworks is forbidden in my city (igniting them is not). Every year it's a nuisance seeing all the garbage on the streets rotting away for months as well as smelling all that sulfur for days after New Year's. Yeah... I'm a party pooper in this regard but all the other people poop on me with their inability to pick up trash.

  3. The polls were wrong again, as many said they would be, but those people missed a crucial point: Biden’s lead was SO massive that even a larger-than-average polling error (and this error was pretty average - about the same as it was in 2012, when Obama did better than expected across Florida, Virginia, and Colorado) couldn’t undo it. The campaign couldn’t rely on the polls being wrong, and they did anyway. So why are they surprised they lost?

  7. Oh boy. I search for a new laser printer for my parents as theirs refuse to cooperate. The exact model I own is now about 100€ more expensive than I bought it over a year ago. WTF.

  10. Because I'm somewhat of a dumbass, I only recently learned that one of Ireland's symbols is the harp. I had some vague familiarity with the Guinness harp (though I don't drink often) but I didn't really connect it. It's on Euros too of course, but I either didn't use any when I went to Spain or wasn't paying attention.

  14. It depresses me that there are less and less new PC cases with space for optical drives (CD/DVD/BluRay). I'm starting to look around for a new PC. As my PC is older and my case has only USB2 ports and an unreliable headphone jack, as well as showing wear I want a new one. My current case is from Cooler Master from 2006. 18. Oh God I hate Amazon's bot chat. I always used the email option because I despise the chat. The bot makes it even worse. I had my already prepared text for a complaint for a late prime delivery that gives me a 5€ voucher. The chat takes a lot more steps between my complaint and its resolution and a lot more time. First I have to click trough the bot responses and then do the whole customer support dance to get to my desired result.
