I just saw Inferno vaporise himself by detonating raw energon within arms reach with his flamethrower. Yet I know from when I saw the show as a kid that this will not be the end of this transformer. I dare to bet whatever animator was so proud for being in charge of his vaporisation scene was at least a little bit grumpy for probably having to do somehting like this to the same bot somewhere in S3 :+

It makes me a little bit sad that Adventure Time ends in 2018. On the other hand it's plenty of time for the creators to end the series properly. Not every series can offer a good ending. I'm looking at you "How I met your Mother".

@adiwan I thought about that for a bit and I do not think there was much better of a way to end "How I met your Mother", unless if you wanted to some sort of learning curve across a season, which they deliberately did not do because now you can just see an episode anywhere whenever and feel like you pretty much only missed minor things.

@critialcloudkicker I admit that it wasn't the right example. HIMYM ran for too long and lost its direction in the last 2-3 seasons. And in the end it was too wacky and too rushed with a kick in the balls in the last episode. It was clear that it was a story about "How I want to bang Robin again" and it ended like that as predicted. The most damning fact was that the children's mother was a delight on screen and was killed off extremely fast with barely any time between the death and Ted's desire to be with Robin. The writers crammed every bit of continuity in the last season and last episode that they didn't give the story enough breathing room. The creators of Adventure Time have done so many good stories and I believe they'll do the end gracefully and gradually with closing one plot at a time.

@adiwan I think you can almost verbatum copy that into a "why I think Batman V Superman is a bad movie". Yes I agree with that fully. Then again, a house build without pre-planning on how the chimney should look will always suffer from something like this "builders fattigue". Though sadly, I doubt this is a problem that is likely to be solved any time soon.

@critialcloudkicker It's the core of the operating system. It contains all the infrastructure for I/O processing, scheduling of processes, drivers/driver loading mechanisms, and much more.

@adiwan That is indeed an awesome answer to what is a kernel, but since I never actually thought about how you could have multiple kernels in my /boot/vmlinuz* ... Just trying to immagine what it would look like, Unless if Linux Kernels are just files with a version number mashed into the name.

@critialcloudkicker Ah. The image itself is in /boot/ as you know. But the other part that filled up the hard disk space is in /lib/modules/ where the kernel modules are stored.

@thelastgherkin If Warcraft thought me anything it is probably that God/Titans are not dead, they just decided to leave our planet after they thought all was well almost 60 Billion years ago ( or something ), then we started creating effigees, and the old gods did some funky stuff and then they corrupted us into making weird effigees ( aswell as the curse of the flesh in the Warcraft universe ). Someone just asked me if he should buy this "PXP 3 slimstation" off this Dutch super-savers site. So I looked at the site together with him, this was embedded https://youtu.be/MpDzIubTn6c , since it is a Portuguese Youtube embedded on a Dutch site, and all the games look like they come from SEGA Megadrive/Genesis. I laughed at him, He didn't understand. Though I guess that most people who read this on RDN would agree that it looks uncomfortable and about as legal as putting homebrew on a CFW Sony Playstation Portable ( PSP ). It even looks like one.

@zennx Well, if Morpheus would prophecize me to be the one I would only believe him to take me into high regard, but if the Oracle would flatout tell me I am the one I would start to live my life like I am the one. What I am saying with this is that a prophet needs to be smart about what he or she says, conveys, leaks, and more specifically does not do. @adiwan Even if it is a magic curse, there would be some way to get around it. Sometimes I do not understand Transformers Beast Wars. Asside from some continuation errors ( ranging from grave to 1st degree burns ) that is. It was also obvious that in the middle of Season 1 the numbers were even ( Megatron, Scorponok, Tarantulas, Terrorsaur, Waspinator, Blackarachnia and Inferno ( 8 ) versus Optimus Primal, Rattrap, Rhinox, Cheetor, Dinobot, Tigatron, and Airazor ( 8 ) ) But then in Season 2, I am on episode 4 right now, Lets see now, Silverbolt joined the Maximals, Quickstrike joined the Predacons. Cheetor, Rattrap and Optimus Primal are Transmetal, but so are Megatron and Tarantulas. Oh and Scorponok and Terrorsaur will be missed. That makes it 7 ( including 2 Transmetal ) versus 9 ( including 3 Transmetal ) ... seems lopsided

I repaired my TV. Normally the adapter provides 12V, and the TV itself checks if it really gets 12V. Since someone stood on my adapter and broke it, the part inside the TV that checks for 12V broke. So I kinda went McGuyver on that part and now I have a functioning TV again :)

My dad wants a laptop, I said he could have my old one as is since that is pretty much what he needs, and I could use a more powerfull one anyway. ( One that does not stutter when I try to play something on YouTube while having a word processor open would be nice ). I wish Marvel didn't poop out so many "events". Civil War II is killing Ms Marvel for me and the event creeps up into her comic series. Later this year a new "event" is announced that involves Inhumans vs X-Men. If this makes into her own comic (because she's technically an Inhuman) I'm thinking about canceling my subscription to the Ms Marvel series.

@critialcloudkicker It boils down to money and greed. More event crossovers, more comics, more purchases! People want to follow what their favorite hero does!! They NEED to buy all of the extra comics to understand what's going on!!! I don't mind small scale crossovers like the one The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl and Howard The Duck did a couple of months ago. It lasted two issues. Quick, painless, fun.

@critialcloudkicker There are comic book review sites that talk about what happens in the events. Reading the reviews is enough to get the gist of it. Civil War II is a clusterFrankerZ. An Inhuman named Ulysses has the ability to see a very probable future and the heroes struggle/fight about the use of his abilities to prevent the crime from being happening and jailing the criminals before the crime has been committed. It lacks the nuances of this problem/opportunity.

@adiwan Well if I wanted it to look boring but effective I could go with a 555 timer, a counter, and a buzzer circuit alone. But if I wanted to do that I would at least want the button to reset the counter everytime I press it and be able to turn it off with just as much ease... Wait now I am being a dumbass because I can just use a rocker-switch to get that in 1 go.

@mushi Yeah, thought so, allow me to break it down. Basically what is plagueing Pokemon Go is a whole lot of spoofers and cheaters, so trying to combat that they employed a software 'guard'. This software called SafetyNet is a crude piece of software that checks for root-access, but I doubt that part is what is causing the game not to work for you. What I think is the main killer for your phone is that it only has 1 gig of memory, and I think trying to get SafetyNet and Pokemon Go and all the other stuff in the background is just a bit too much for your phone.
I really doubt that dropping your phone multiple times will cause things like games to suddenly stop working.
