@cabal What ever it is, that program their kids told them to run instead of running the Internet when they connect on American Online. (Sorry, I hear this from my parents all the time, too. Sad testament to the level of computer expertise in my family to think that I somehow wound up the family "computer person".)

Looks like it's possible that the site problems were due to us exceeding the daily quota for the geolocation service we used. Or a DoS attack. Or both! 9.6

@colfax I disabled the geolocation plugin for now. Let's see if it helps. If so, I can probably implement a local geolocation proxy. That'd cut down on the number of requests we send.

I have a bit of a mini-contest with a real prize. If someone can design a Law enforcement badge design w/transparent background, with the words Brony Intelligence Department (B.I.D.) with the motto of your choosing (must be serious and reflect the Brony community values) I will mail the winner a Crystal Rainbow Dash keychain. png is preferred format, along with a SVG if you know how. @cabal As for the paranoia issue: You yourself are the one who posted suggesting that if SOPA passes, you'd be dragged out of your house by a SWAT team in the dead of night. That IS paranoia. One could also aruge that reading my previous post and coming to the conclusion that it was /intended/ to patronise is also a mark of paranoia. You editorialise every issue you have an opinion on extremely strongly, leading to a chicken little/boy who cried wolf scenario whereby you may well be talking about something incredibly important (IE: Free Speech) but the manner in which you are talking about it puts people off.
