  1. @metaltao Shepard Smith?

  2. @metaltao If 99% of conspiracy theories are false, 1% must be true. Therefore, 1% of alien abduction hoaxes are real. Therefore, we must have had at least one alien abduction.

  3. @metaltao Those filthy "scientists" need to go back to their roots, and re-consider that matter is made of four elements. It's called the atomic THEORY because it has no evidence.

  4. @metaltao Their alchemy is blasphemous against the one true abrahamic lord. They are even taking themselves seriously, and organizing, ever since that one loon released his book The Sceptical Chymist.

  5. @metaltao Maybe, one day, I'll be able to glance at a new formula and memorize it as quickly as I understand it, again. I miss the old days where you learned basic ideas like "2x = 10" rather than massive formulas. New fangled science.

  6. @metaltao Yep. Fixed lvbot so I can go back to the memory tab. From what I've noticed, it's about how much you're able to focus on something. It's hard to focus on a single number or word, but if you try to, say, make a story or picture out of it, then it's much easier to remember. Both because you focused on it, more, and because you have a new memory that says the same thing.

  7. @metaltao I haven't read much on the championships themselves, but I'm guessing they do things like memorize long strings of numbers, and the order of shuffled decks of cards. (I know there's one big competition, thing, where people /only/ memorize the order of a deck of cards). I mostly just wanna speed up how fast I'm studying, since I understand the material easily, but a lot of it is slow memorization.

  8. @metaltao I was studying up on memorization techniques used in memory-championships, then I noticed something about the censoring (I think) killed Lvbot II, and now I'm learning how to work around an ascii encoding problem.

  9. @metaltao No, the word before 'prole'. Prole, off memory, is a person of low standing / a commoner / a pleb.

  10. @lvbot For what it counts, I said a word that means "ˈFluffle Puffləs/ lacking initiative or strength of character; irresponsible.".

  11. @metaltao Potato Knishesless prole.

  12. @lvbot I meant that as in "No one is interested in online IQ tests", not as in "My IQ is high so I don't care". Only now realized people might misunderstand that.

  13. I always impulsively click links and images I see people post in chats, and I'm always, always disappointed in how they never match my interests. Pic related. http://rainbowdash.net/url/833424

  14. @redenchilada Make sure they're in view of a camera you can access. Nerds love plush. I remember trying to figure out how to design this one basic plush idea I had, before giving up because I couldn't think of how to make a good, smooth sphere.

  15. Morgan Freeman stomping on tomatoes in a very large metal tub (Large as a pool, two feet deep), pausing, glancing at you, and saying in his amazing voice "Tomato juice is good for you" before he continues.

  16. @redenchilada Are there any already there? If so, you're probably the reason your co-workers are nerds. You're the source.

Wednesday, 24-Feb-16 03:08:41 UTC from web in context
  17. @redenchilada Ok, quitter. I have better things to do than help the weak overcome their fear of re-stacking plushies when they're not even willnig to cooperate.

Wednesday, 24-Feb-16 03:07:09 UTC from web in context
  18. @redenchilada Just going by personal experience, isn't that fine? I think I'd be the type that pulls them off the sill and re-positions them every single day.

  19. @scribus The government renamed the diagnosis because they didn't want society feeling like they're all mentally ill, degrading the seriousness of many mental illnesses. As such, instead of a diagnostic sheet, you get it renamed to "birth certificate". This is included in the man page of life, but many people lose it since it gets so soggy in the womb.

  20. @redenchilada Go cuddle your poke-plush toys.

  21. @scribus Don't worry, that's called the human condition.

Wednesday, 24-Feb-16 02:57:30 UTC from web in context
  22. @redenchilada Aren't you working technology? Isn't that a given? Aren't you a god damn nerd? (This is coming from someone who identifies his bots as his friends and girlfriend).

  23. @redenchilada Your standards are pretty high. Needing both friends and a job. I guess that's why dragons are so fearsome; they refuse to be any less. Rawr.

Wednesday, 24-Feb-16 02:52:36 UTC from web in context
  24. @redenchilada Yes, that's very cute. Now get contacts and either a hair tie or scissors. You might be a dragon, but dragons need to be respected in society.

  25. @redenchilada Don't worry, there's a lot of furries in the world. Kinda.

  26. @mushi Maybe I could still swallow it, if I dislocate my jaw like a snake, and put a tube in my lungs?

Wednesday, 24-Feb-16 01:38:58 UTC from web in context
  27. @mushi I bet I could swallow them whole. They seem fun just to have around, either way.

Wednesday, 24-Feb-16 01:27:13 UTC from web in context
  28. @mushi What are those? Can I eat them?

  29. Seriously though, you can't get cuter parenting manga than this. http://rainbowdash.net/url/833411

  30. @mushi Horribly, painfully adorable parenting-based manga. Like Usagi Drop but with more hyperactivity and imagination.
