@northernnarwhal Here Comes The Indian and Hollinndagain up through Lablakely Dress are some of my favorite recorded sounds ever. Here Comes The Indian is just, so tense and such a unique atmosphere. And yeah, nothing really touches spirit. It's wonderful.

@northernnarwhal Animal Collective is my all time favorite group, they've managed to, with each release, cement themselves as a very special group in that they've created a world in sound all their own, from Here Comes The Indian's anxious primal soundscapes to the sunshine pop of MPP to the wonderful, haunting ambient tunes on Feels. Its all so so good.

@northernnarwhal the backup can only be applied with a hardmod, but it (hopefully) won't come to that

@northernnarwhal I'll back up my system using a custom tool before I do anything else. After that, it'll be time to install some custom firmware and if anything goes wrong, I can use my backup. If everything goes right, I'll be able to play a patched English version of MHX for free, among many other things.

@northernnarwhal tried to downgrade, did everything correctly, but on boot, the displays both turn on their backlights but don't display the home menu. I can get into the sleep mode screen but when I try to get into the home menu via that screen it just hangs on the title card thing
