  5. @rodrigo I'm not talking about the honest racists like neo nazis and such, that will gladly admit to be racists and then start ranting about how this or that group needs to go away. I'm talking about the hypocrital ones that will forever go on about how they're good people and the racists are others. The whole socjus crowd and all that that won't admit to hating certain races or groups even worse than how honest racists do. You know, the whole "kill white people" crap and all that? none of the crowd that yells that BS will admit to you to being racists despite being the very definition of it. To expose them (to themselves and their peers, not to reasonable people who can already tell) you have to turn the tables and show how their argument supposedly in defense of a group in truth is just an insult to that group. It works to a degree with neo nazis though, since you can tell them for example "if blacks are so dumb how are they a threat" or things like that.

  6. @lnxw48a1 I loved it as a kid but got kinda fed up with the characters when older, haha.
It helped that as a kid I didn't understand enough english to get more than the gameplay part of it.

  9. @dokidoki Oh, he hasn't been talking about it much lately, since there's no one else over here who's really into the topic. He used to though and that's why I suggested it.

  15. @hakui @sim I still own that bike. That time I just sped through the half block between my house and the main street and since I didn't want to stop going fast I went straight through it, dodging a few cars and a bus.
My only bike accident was when I was racing against a neighbourhood kid, he turned earlier, so I tried to catch on as fast as I could. His sister jumped into the "track" when he passed through the checkpoint and I rammed into her quite fast. The front wheel got bent and I flew forward. The options were to crash against her, a tree, or an iron fence so yeah.
I also once stopped near the uuh... whatever the little trench next to the street for water to run is called? but the front wheel slid into the hole and I flipped over and ended up lying on my back in the hole, still grabbing the handlebar of the parked bike. That one was more funny than anything though, didn't hurt.

  17. As a kid I first spent a lot of time on DOS games (prehistorik, commander keen, duke nukem, sometimes blake stone, jazz jackrabit, a bunch of apogee titles and so on) then loads of shareware I'd get as it was easy at the time and I didn't care that I only had a few levels of each. Then went over to Age of Empires 2 and Sims 1, which soaked hundreds of hours too. After that I think I played tomb raider 3, a flight combat sim called f22 lightning 3, some mech commander 2 and empire earth, and loads of MAME. Oh, also a genesis emulator and World Empire 3. Then got an N64 emulator and a GBA one, and Half Life with a bunch of mods, and eventually Diablo 2 and a Need for Speed. After that I got internet so I started playing all sorts of stuff and wasted too many hours on Oblivion. WoW was the only MMO I played regularly though, I mostly played singleplayer games.

  22. @hakui I used to play a lot of wow back in the day, but despite the game not being the best thing in the world it was still great because I'd play with my cousins and we'd often have a skype call going. So more than anything it was fooling around with them.

  23. @hakui Eh, it makes no sense to regret "wasting" time on games. It's one of the most fun things to do as a kid, and at that point of your life what matters is having fun. So if you enjoyed those games it's not wasted time.
