My husband Brad always warns me not to try and update my Facebook page while I'm driving. "You'll hit another pedestrian," he says. "This isn't the Enterprise, there isn't a deflector array." Then along comes a miracle product like this! I can now happily fly at warp speed down the streets of Los Angeles, laptop or mobile device perched right in front of me, so I can keep both eyes right on it AND on the road. It's so much easier to ignore all the frightened screams and annoying honking when you've got Facebook to look at while driving. Thank you, Wheelmate!

I read some 4 and 5 star reviews by those who used this device successfully to change a baby while driving. On that basis, I bought one. I put my baby on it and drove for over an hour. It did not change. Same baby. I am glad it worked for some people but I will be returning mine. (The steering wheel desk.)

@bowandlyre It's too easy and much more fun to just poke at them with sticks and say "FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT" because it's clearly the more amusing option. I dunno, I know I'm guilty of it, but perhaps we should stop doing that exact thing because it turns us into a sort of website full of terrible people laughing at someone's ignorance

@redenchilada To be honest there's a strong case for banning all of the old regulars because they make public incredibly new-user hostile 90% of the time. The site is incredibly cliquey and I'm not really certain of how to overcome it.

@neurario It was written by a hobbyist on sony's obscure hobbyist dev platform, the Net Yaroze, which allowed games be transferred into the units RAM via serial cable, imposing a maximum executable size limit of 2mb, the amount of RAM in the unit. I know this because I have been lusting after a Yaroze for YEARS.

Okay, to join RequestArt100, all you have to do is PM, dash or add me on skype: leo.tamisin. Afterwards, write every intimate detail you can list down, I don't care what it is, the more the better. I'll be posting daily one picture minimum up to a week max. Sue me if I break my own rules. Okay, anyone, anybody, hear me out. I have a project in mind, and it's all for fun and good times. Exclusively for RDN, I will open myself to a request sketch 100. Basically it's a practice run of pony art ranging from any form you like, all you need to do is to PM me or give me a dash about your requests, I'm mostly open about drawing anything. This event will launch today to the next 100 days minimum. So please, if you have anything in mind to be seen digitally, give me a shout out, and I'll list it to my to do list.
