(But yeah, that's basically how I "played" those old Goosebumps' "Reader Beware: You Choose The Scare" books - find an ending I like, then find which page could've sent me there, and repeat until I had the whole path mapped out, which I would then read the actual story text of in the right order. I was a strange child.)
