@cinnamonswirl They believe the acrylic/tempered glass surface is able to survive wheels, stones and plows indefinitely. If they had thought this through, they would have realized it is far more viable to install the same type of panel on the roofs of houses. On there, the only type of damage they'd recieve would be hail and bird excrement, sometimes a cat scratch, so the panels would be practically indestructible under normal conditions.
