    Like, ok, I get that people want to be called what they want to be called.

    (Unless it's "dogkin" or something retarded like that. If you think you're a dog you're kiwiing stupid.)

    But what that guy was saying was essentially that he wants everyone to, as soon as they meet a person, ask "HI THERE WHAT ARE YOUR PREFERRED PRONOUNS". That's not how you're meant to interact with people. If somebody's logical, and not completely stupid, they'll correct you if you call them the wrong pronoun and won't be all "OMG WHY ARE YOU OPPRESSING ME".
