  1. @stumperman07 Which parks specifically? I love parks! I was wanting to do a big meetup in the Hocking Hills region at some point.

  8. !ohiobronies I have ample space, but no Hub and a rather small TV (it was big in the 90s! :P) Hrm. Do we need the Hub when there's the magic of Youtube? I know a pony with a projector...

  11. @starshine Do it anyway? Except I really should sleep if I plan on pulling another 12-hr shift tomorrow... NO NO SLEEP BAD THOUGHTS OF TIREDNESS. Even if a million Fluttershies...

  12. @sinsofhope That's what I've been saying for years!

  13. Sleep? What is this sleep of which you speak?

  14. @fortecanter @ceruleanspark @fencingblind Ok so my five minutes of internet research shows the same thing. Also apparently there's a ruby at the base of a unicorn horn called the carbuncle that's the source of their magic. Or something. In any case, I also agree that alicorn sounds a lot better than pegacorn, although pegacorn also doesn't sound... legit. Who here is well-versed in mythology?

  15. It is time for me to sleep, or something. 'night all.

  16. @mrbrown DELICIOUS. I should try growing some of those next year.

  17. @1greg1 Congrats!

  18. @mrbrown Depends on the hot sauce. Frank's Red Hot is one of my favorites, but it's not really hot. Meanwhile, the hottest variety at BW3s (atomic, maybe?) is actually quite spicy.

  19. @fencingblind It'd be a silly thing to spend money on anyway. One that'd I be all for, as I'm always all for silly things, but one that rationally most likely wouldn't be justifiable.

  20. @trombe Oh hi. I'd say not rubbish, just should be female. Which is why Fluttershys works so much better, well the female rendition anyway.

  21. @mrbrown I do like that song. It's nice and ambient.

  22. @fencingblind There's a plane for that :P

Wednesday, 24-Aug-11 07:40:29 UTC from web in context
  23. @mrbrown I think it sounds delicious! Hot sauce goes on everything, right?

Wednesday, 24-Aug-11 07:40:17 UTC from web in context
  24. @mrbrown I'm doing alright. Just checkin' up on things around the ponynets before I run off to sleep dreaming of millions of squeaking Fluttershys...

  25. !ohiobronies Brief checklist of things that must happen at the Cleveland meetup: *Hot sauce cupcakes. *Group singalong of that song about a million fluttershys. *Group singalong of love on Trixie day. *Friendship is Music. *Some variety of silly RP. *Speedfic silliness.

  28. @starshine I just felt like it was something that needed said. It's one of my goals to make sure that elitism noise that bothered me so much about the anime fandom doesn't happen to the bronies.

Wednesday, 24-Aug-11 05:35:00 UTC from web in context
  29. @purpletinker I do! ^_~

  30. @starshine @purpletinker Woah everypony calm down. Having been well-versed in the anime convention trenches, this bickering is not a path we want to go down. I really, really, REALLY don't want to see the various brony meetup groups and the like devolve into the "ours is better!" mentality that so many anime conventions have fallen prey to. It's the path that leads to pointless elitism and 3 confounding conventions in one city, and it's a terrible thing. We should support each other and play to our strengths, not fight each other. So chill, relax, think about your goals and aspirations in the fandom, and make sure you're doing your best to achieve them for the benefit of all.
