@scoot I'm likely gonna be doing some more schooling after I graduate where I'm currently attending, though I'm not gonna drop out because it'll damage my credit.
-
@scoot I know that feeling, I have a big audio post-production assignment due at the end of my semester and I've been putting it off a ton because I haven't worked up the motivation to start it. I'd definitely like to see your film when it's finished too, especially since I enjoyed your last one.
-
@scoot Oh wow, that's a lot. I have confidence in you though, you seem to be doing well so far.
-
@scoot How long does the final animation have to be?
-
@scoot How much time do you have to finish it?
-
@scoot When he reaches for the bucket, that movement's really slow, which I know is deliberate, BUT, the abundance of frames makes the slowness seem a little out of place and odd-looking. I know you've voiced displeasure with animating on threes in the past, but I think for that particular movement it would make sense. The two keys should remain in the same positions if possible, but I think there don't need to be as many frames in the inbetween.
-
@scoot Yeah, the walk animation itself looks fine to me (though I imagine getting it to work with the flat motif must've been challenging initially). Keep up the good work!
-
@scoot Ah, that's understandable. In which case, the only critique I can think of at the moment would be that it would probably make more visual sense if this shot http://i.imgur.com/UBAZeAC.png had some kind of signifier of the main character in the house, so when you cut to this shot afterwards http://i.imgur.com/YgzQlJW.png the viewer isn't wondering where they came from.
-
@scoot Ignoring the stuff you mentioned in your post, one thing that stood out to me was how everything was stylistically flat (I mean this in the literal sense, not figurative) except for the bucket, where there was some depth to it. Is that significant, or just a coincidence?
-
@scoot I personally prefer the really heavily Eastern inspired designs of Birthright's characters, so I started with it.
-
@scoot Oh sweet, those were both great games. If you liked Awakening you'll for sure like Fates too, personally I think I may already prefer Fates despite loving Awakening. If you want Hana make sure to get Birthright as she's a unit in the Hoshido story.
-
@scoot Not the Scoot, not the Scoot
-
@scoot I've been playing Birthright since around the time it came out and I've been loving it so far. It's great if you're new to to the series or if you're a longtime fan too, so it's all kinds of accessible. Hana is definitely one of my favourite units too, she's really cute and actually makes for a great Swordmaster with her offensive capabilities too.
-
@scoot She's Hana from the new Fire Emblem game. Here's the full source of my profile image if you're interested http://i.imgur.com/diJZR0B.png

@scoot I'm glad I could help, even in some small way.
-
@scoot This is really adorable, I love it!
-
@scoot You do you. You can't change someone by whining at him or her that you dislike something about him or her anyway. You just hope that things will work out in the better for them sooner rather than later. Although tactical buttkickings should always remain an option should someone ONLY decide to focus on the negatives, which is especially annoying when things are actually going well.

@scoot It's okay, I can understand the busyness and don't at all hold it against you for not being here often. I am glad to see you whenever you're around though, I have lots of respect for you as a person and love your art. It's troubling to hear you're going through so many troubles, and I want you to know it's not your fault. Depression just sucks the motivation right out of you, and anxiety doesn't help work ethic at all. I know the despondency and exhaustion, and college has made me really in tune with my own powerlessness lots of the time. I spend lots of my time at mine too, which has led to lots of stress. I guess I'm probably not helping too much, but I guess what I'm trying to say is I understand all too well, and hope for the best for you cause you deserve it.
-
@scoot banana, dude, that's horrible. I'm sorry.
-
@scoot Hey Scoot, it's always great to see you here but I'm also sad to hear about how you're doing, especially because I can relate to where you're coming from. I've been having anxiety issues while working since semester 1 and there are several courses where my chance of passing is in jeopardy, so things could probably be going better. But at least it's Friday, right?
-
@scoot I'm sorry yours is going so poorly.
-
@scoot Eh, it's whatever. This is my last semester in secondary school anyway and then it's off to community college with me. Hopefully I'll actually tolerate what I'm doing by then.
-
@scoot 10 for effort, 10 for making me laugh.
-
@scoot Same
-
@scoot Hi Scoot, I am back, I guess that could add to your panicking a little bit but trust me when i say I am not here for that. Athough I would find it hilarious on my end if you were to update that picture/doodle you included to a more desperate "Oh my various deities, not him anything but him !" ( why do I remind myself of Nicholas Cage just now ? ). How am I doing ? Stomach-bug *sigh*... Also bored, REALLY bored.

@thelastgherkin I tried to get @scoot to test this with his Girlfriend. He refused.
