@adiwan I got 2 cheap pairs of Apple knockoffs, one of them the case's charge button just broke and fell into the case so they can't charge unless I use the other pair's case. Also, I just have the worst luck with Bluetooth, anyway.

@zeldatra Hey, the only time I "crashed" the bus, I got hit on the broadside by a 90 year old! And nobody was even hurt, okay! Except my schedule... and maybe a couple hundred other people's schedule, down the line....

@zeldatra Even after all of the updates and finally putting pools into the base game, I just cannot stand Sims 4. They're too dumb, and they're too bad at listening to the User. The multitasking is cool, and they don't clutter at stairs and doorways as badly as 3, but really.... That's about it, gameplay-wise, for me. Otherwise it's like they traded one graphical step forward for two or three game steps back. I hire a babysitter, I go to the bar with my wife, I come home at 3 AM and the toddler is unfed in the backyard playing around in a dirty diaper and that was about when I decided the game was literally unfinished and in Cimmeria, by Crom, pushing unfinished software to market would cost one's HEAD!! lol

@zeldatra As long as it's over 24, man. I'm starting to get over it, but the ultra-high framerate thing puts me off. I've started seeing good uses of it, like sports, but I can pretty well usually do without.

Well my monitor literally can only update its display 60 times in one second, but I guess I appreciate my video card pulling like 550% duty? O_O wonderful throttling settings to have finally discovered after like a year

Well. My cousins haven't yet told my 90+ YO great aunt that her husband is gone. She, herself, is pretty far out of it, but... dang. On the other hand, Grandpa's other sister keeps learning about his death "for the first time," and all of her grandkids have stopped wanting to put her through the trauma so she's kind of just . . . y'know? I dunno.

Well, buried my great-uncle today (he married Grandpa's sister). Learned some fun numbers during the eulogy, like him being 1 of 7 children (who survived, out of 16), or the realization that at 68 years+ together, their marriage was legally old enough to retire.
