  1. FLASHBACK, MAMMERJAMMERS!! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kG4nOPylsdg&t=1s

Friday, 09-Jul-21 20:00:50 UTC from web
  2. @zeldatra Which sounds, on paper, like the world the conservatives claim to want, and in practice they police the hell out of your garden

Thursday, 08-Jul-21 15:57:40 UTC from web in context
  3. @zeldatra That seems like one of those "America in a nutshell" moments that political cartoons are made of

Monday, 05-Jul-21 19:09:51 UTC from web in context
  4. @adiwan I think a lot of frames intend for you to use a mat to fill in the space, I have a hard enough time finding frames to accommodate (US) standard stuff like 8x10's or 8.5x11 (also, why two standards so close?!)

  5. At least, that's the myth I tell myself to avoid bothering counting

Sunday, 04-Jul-21 01:37:04 UTC from web
  6. @adiwan I think those things tend to be handled by weight, and err just a bit on the "too much" side. Should just be "bonus" crap, if anything is off.

  7. I just need to figure out how to lock three teens in the dungeon (though, I did put three graves out front...) and remember to install a meteor in the lab

Friday, 02-Jul-21 22:31:08 UTC from web
  8. @adiwan Sadly, I was not able to get a nuclear reactor in the swimming pool, but I did put a "dungeon" of sorts in the basement (mostly just a bedroom with a barred window looking in, lol)

Friday, 02-Jul-21 21:15:52 UTC from web in context
  9. I am almost astounded at how well I managed to translate the Maniac Mansion home to Sims 3, so far !vgp

Friday, 02-Jul-21 07:23:24 UTC from web in context
  10. @adiwan I've tried, but then I forget to rotate in a new one for like twice as long. Maybe I should just set a reminder in my calendar app...

  11. So my dad's got a modest little flagpole attached to the front of the house. Mom had had a rotating set of seasonal/holiday flags, which he's mostly kept up after she died. But he expanded, too. During the worst of the protests last summer, he had one with a litany of supportive messages. "Love is Love, Black Lives Matter" etc. Now he's got a satellite shot of Earth. He also got a smaller Earth flag for his lady friend. Yesterday, I noticed Dad's flag has a major hurricane obscuring like all of Florida. And while hers does have some activity around Florida, it's mostly clear and there's a big storm creeping up on Baja California, instead. Kinda makes me want to get one with Asia/Europe/Africa, just to keep up the unmatched match vibe :p

  12. @adiwan Ironically, what I like best about their service is getting a regularly scheduled new toothbrush

Tuesday, 29-Jun-21 00:05:14 UTC from web in context
  13. One more strike away from cancelling my Dollar Shave Club; I ain't into businesses that use "errors" as an excuse to make it physically impossible to cancel a subscription. This is some AOL-tier crap, here.

Monday, 28-Jun-21 17:47:08 UTC from web in context
  14. What is the problem with Firefox these days? And what has been the problem with web devs since 2000???

Monday, 28-Jun-21 17:46:13 UTC from web
  15. @zeldatra Eh, some "border crossing" is kind of inevitable around that point, just don't buy them booze or smokes and it should be fine (unless they're dweebs)

Saturday, 26-Jun-21 06:57:17 UTC from web in context
  16. Has EA done a single gorram thing right this millennium? !vgp

Saturday, 26-Jun-21 06:55:47 UTC from web in context
  17. @adiwan I had to really ask myself yesterday *why* I still have Instagram; it's intended to be my last point of contact for some people, so I can announce my own website (with blackjack! And hookers!!) when I finally get that done

Thursday, 24-Jun-21 16:29:47 UTC from web in context
  18. @scribus Well now I feel bad about having felt bad (and also upgrading my swears) so that's fun

Thursday, 24-Jun-21 01:22:06 UTC from web in context
  19. Every god damned (yes - GOD DAMNED) time I have to post something to Instagram, I get literally sick to my stomach from the terrible user experience (and also the knowledge that I haven't quit Instagram yet)

Wednesday, 23-Jun-21 18:48:24 UTC from web in context
  20. Well I may have seen a movie ad dumber than The Purge or Saw; pitch was "What if everything is a clue and YOU ACTUALLY LIVE IN AN ESCAPE ROOM!?!?" Big damn room, since I've flown to both Hawaii and Florida... spent high school ratting around multiple malls... just came back from the beach today.... I mean, Truman never got to leave town! Dark City was still more than *A* room - it was a whole-ass city!!

  21. @adiwan I heard they're airing it, then putting it online free for a couple of weeks. I hope the rest of the season makes a YT appearance, too.

  23. @zeldatra And I've long believed that the EPA should take serious issue with planned obsolescence in technology ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Thursday, 17-Jun-21 15:11:25 UTC from web
