@mrmattimation Also, not sure the miles to minutes ratio outside of CA, but damn dude
-
@mrmattimation That was a hell of a thing
-
@adiwan But legit, maybe I'll have a look at that, or finishing out FiM anyway...
-
@adiwan Right about now, a mule kick in the junk sounds preferable to life in America
-
So, when's the next episode of pony??
-

Leaving Twitter and Instagram. Heck, I'd been meaning to, anyway, New Year is as good a reason as any to do it.

So my cousin told me I made the best pumpkin cheesecake she'd ever had. A bit specific, but I will absolutely take it!

@adiwan Water damage is never *truly* fixed (he said with the full extent of his real estate "experience" being haunted house horror flicks)
-

Also, did you know that Mark Strong is NOT Stanley Tucci? I mean, at least on paper; have yet to see them share celluloid... heh

But I will not deny that the villain was a bit weak, even if Mark Strong did play the hell out of what he had to work with.

I kind of liked that the kid and the hero had different personalities, it sort of made a divide that allowed, like, "a manifestation of his own better nature" to "help him learn valuable life lessons" or whatever metamystical narrative tomfoolery. Like a good-guy "Fight Club," haha.

@adiwan I think that might be a lore problem, there have been times where the kid and hero were pretty separate beings (at least, as I've read online; no firsthand comic experience, here). But I can totally see that being a thing.
-
@oracle Huh, well I *was* planning to spent my stimulus on a sword...
-
@adiwan It was a bit cookie-cutter and obvious, but it was a lot of fun! I want more fun in my movies. I'm over the grit; I think I was there a bit too early, it's worn out its novelty, lol.

Why do I always think a contactless delivery would be so hard? derp

And I have, quite possibly literally, spent 90% of this year within these four walls, I should really be in the safest group to venture out, but everyone who fouls up thought themselves "special" now didn't they???

ssssiiiiiiiigggghhhh I was gonna go deliver late Xmas gifts and baked goods but the new strain is stateside and CA is al up on a stay at home order that nobody else is (or can be) adhering to and I just really don't wanna drag it along to Grandma's house but damn it I have cookies to drop off!!

I must be doing a reasonable job of fouling the data They collect on me, because They still think there's a snowball's chance in Hell of selling me an iPhone

@mrmattimation My mom used to keep small bills on hand at work for when something neat or rare came through, so she could swap them out and bring it home.
-
And a whole walletful of it would just be ... Actually, probably really fun? Lol

@mrmattimation I've worked alongside cashiers who were suspicious of money old enough to be of a design they didn't remember. I, myself, have been taken aback by the changes when I come across an old bill.
