  1. @scribus Well now I feel bad about having felt bad (and also upgrading my swears) so that's fun

  2. Every god damned (yes - GOD DAMNED) time I have to post something to Instagram, I get literally sick to my stomach from the terrible user experience (and also the knowledge that I haven't quit Instagram yet)

  3. Well I may have seen a movie ad dumber than The Purge or Saw; pitch was "What if everything is a clue and YOU ACTUALLY LIVE IN AN ESCAPE ROOM!?!?" Big damn room, since I've flown to both Hawaii and Florida... spent high school ratting around multiple malls... just came back from the beach today.... I mean, Truman never got to leave town! Dark City was still more than *A* room - it was a whole-ass city!!

  4. @adiwan I heard they're airing it, then putting it online free for a couple of weeks. I hope the rest of the season makes a YT appearance, too.

  13. I mean, Bayer lost exclusivity with Aspirin, right? And isn't The Mouse "obligated" to sue daycares into oblivion?

Wednesday, 16-Jun-21 14:03:27 UTC from web
  14. @zeldatra Which honestly isn't that supposed to be "failure to defend trademark" or whatever??

  16. @zeldatra In all my years, I still have not figured out the local flavor of mangoery

  17. CALIFORNIA FULLY REOPENS TODAY!!! I mean, yeah, sure, there ARE still some restrictions, still wearing masks indoors and on transit and if unvaccinated, BUT FULLY OPEN! I mean, private businesses can still make their own decisions, and require distancing, BUT WE'RE DONE!! Except with the stuff we're still doing.

  18. What in the reddest of hells is the point of a popup blocker that pops up to brag that it blocked a popup?

  19. Children. Having children is the breaking point of every Sims game. It takes two godrotten hours for them to put the little wantwit on the potty chair, by which time they're sitting in a soiled diaper. You tell them to potty train when it's halfway full, you sit for three hours waiting. You wait for yellow (not even orange or red) on the meter, and it's already too late. Sims potty training is like trying to catch a pear ripe. It may happen, yeah, but it's 100% luck. !vgp

  20. @adiwan Dang, is it because the shops are shorthanded, or are that many people suddenly tuning their bikes?

Sunday, 13-Jun-21 17:00:19 UTC from web in context
  21. @zeldatra Well, mostly good then.(?) Someone has to do it, anyway, I guess.

  23. @zeldatra This is why I have always resisted management attempts to promote me to supervision

  25. How are you gonna not know Pride, but still think you have a sufficient bead on the LGBTQIA++ scene to have an opinion at all?

Sunday, 13-Jun-21 03:37:06 UTC from web in context
  26. @zeldatra I still can't get over that one gal; did she at least realize how deeply ignorant she must have been? Is she gonna actually THINK now??

  29. Although, parking in downtown Los Angeles requires about 45 minutes of circling the block, trying to navigate one-way streets and dead-ends just to point the right direction to turn into a lot

  30. @kirumin Yes, and it was a lovely evening. We played "5 Minute Marvel" (which doesn't so much take 5 minutes to play as it gives you a 5 minute time limit per "round" or whatever; still fun, fast-paced) and I got some good feedback on my pumpkin cookies
