  2. @scribus That's the life of a developer/maker. Easy things taking way longer than anticipated.

  3. @scribus Moho or Blender would be your best bets probably, with the latter you could just prep the images in Photoshop or something like that beforehand you could just import each element into Blender as a plane and just have the camera looking at them flat from above, with a sun lamp pointing straight down for uniform lighting.

  4. @scribus I unfortunately do not, before they went subscription-only Clip Studio Paint EX was a great low-cost alternative for small projects (but it leaves a lot to be desired for longer projects unless you also have Adobe software for compositing). It didn’t have tweening or anything like that to speed things up though, it relied on the user being familiar with frame by frame. Blender is free and has a 2D workflow but I personally hate the drawing tools. I’ve heard great things about Moho, both versions are one-time purchases, and I was considering switching to it for Swole Foods as it’s easier to learn than ToonBoom, but I can’t personally recommend it as I’m not familiar with it myself.

  7. @scribus More so in the sense that it was old news by the time the episode aired - the rebate was a pre-9/11 initiative, the episode aired in 2003, & even on the DVD commentary the writers acknowledge it was a bit of a dated topic at the time. Of course everyone gets the COVID episode, but it feels a bit LATE to do a COVID episode.

  15. @scribus this is probably so offensive it loops back around to the point nobody could consider it offensive, which is normally how I operate anyway, so… on the table

  16. @scribus a lore tidbit that the show kind of ignores when convenient, which to be fair, is consistently how they like to do things over there

  19. @scribus The garden is full of bushes and other stuff. The owners planted a fir tree relatively in the middle and it has grown so big that there is barely any room left for anything else. The first thing that has to be done in that garden is to fell the tree. Also it is such a kind of fir tree that is not even beautiful and full. It looks more like a skeleton of a tree with more branches than needles.

  20. @scribus I like most of helluva actually! I just find the edgy humor to be boring and uncreative lol. But I genuinely like a few of the characters and the worldbuilding/lore.

  25. @scribus tears of the kingdom not being multiplayer is a wasted opportunity in general tbh, the amount of insane papaya you’d be able to do with the Rust building mechanics… you don’t even need to justify a second Link, the game does it for you with the Naruto shadow clones that everyone seems to be able to use now.

  29. @scribus Good lord I wish, the previous game indirectly mentioned the events of Twilight Princess exactly one time and that seems to be the only acknowledgment Nintendo is willing to give that game.
