  1. @starlightbolt that's actually a pretty interesting way of thinking about it

  2. @starlightbolt ... That is exactly how I feel, except I've never been able to put it in words.

  3. @starlightbolt I like you more every comment.

  4. @starlightbolt I'm... weak... I literally was too afraid of the pain to continue, an issue I still have. If not for that I wouldn't be here anymore, but now I also promised my owner I wouldn't kill myself so it all becomes so much harder to break out of this useless existence. Wish I wasn't always this weak and scared >_>

  5. @starlightbolt Yeah, but when you're a homosexual, it's typically people who claim to be doing the work of some god or another.

  6. @starlightbolt Such good words.

  7. @starlightbolt As long as they realize that constantly talking about how great it is to people that do not want to hear it is affecting those people, agreed

  8. @starlightbolt that's a pretty good viewpoint to have, I can support that

  9. @starlightbolt Then I am weak, seeing how truths have already driven me to failed suicides often enough. I fail to understand your point here though.

  10. @starlightbolt Oh I certainly wouldn't argue that some people are demonstrably better than others. The concept of "All men being born equal" is a myth. My friend IS upset by how stupid and unnecessary it all is. Instead of trying to stop them from doing stuff, couldn't the high and mighty religious types be helping hobos or something?

  11. @starlightbolt I have no stake in where people do it or how people do it. I live and let live. But I did ask you a question.

  12. @starlightbolt bisexuality was the norm in ancient greece, and through the medieval period up until the renaissance gender was seen as performative rather than genetic, so my personal views on sexual preference is whatever makes the person happy, social constructs change and people's views often change with them, so there's no real reason for discrimination based on such preferences

  13. @starlightbolt No, just things that imply that people come in tiers depending on where they like to stick their bits and pieces.

  14. @starlightbolt Getting your emotions under control is easier said than done. You can't blame anyone for feeling offended, just like you can't blame people for other emotions. You literally can't help it.

  15. @starlightbolt Any type of conversation that starts with "My religion says people with X-genital preference can't do X"

  16. @starlightbolt Hey, this is weird but is there Amy way that I would be able to talk to Roommate regularly?

  17. @starlightbolt Discriminating against people based on their preferred configuration of interlocked genitals IS offensive.

  18. @starlightbolt "God told me to discriminate against gays" is more offensive than "Random chance dictates that I should discriminate against gays" because entropy is a thing that at least demonstrably exists.

  20. @starlightbolt I only listen to my owner, as she is the one I trust completely. If God may wish to speak to me, he/she/it will have to contact my owner, whatever it may be. I'd rather end my life than taking instructions from anyone else than her. If you promise to be loyal like I did, that promise should be kept under all circumstances.
