@pony There's no such thing as a "cure for depression".

@thelastgherkin I stand corrected. "depressant as a treatment for depression" then xD

@thelastgherkin Of there's no chemical cure for it. I was joking after all.

@silverspark I wonder if I still have my copy around somewhere. If I had a Gamecube I've heard of some trick you can do with it and a network adapter to play LAN-based games over the internet.

@silverspark Man, you better have taken down Dynawing.

@bitshift It's a semi-custom SSD.
-
@eaglehooves Ah, in that case you might well be (relatively) safe to tell it to ignore those warnings (assuming there is an option to ignore them) - I've seen a lot of reports that SSDs get falsely reported as failing by that component of the system. (Which is bad, and should be fixed, but at least it's a small load off your mind.)
-
@bitshift That's what I was thinking. It was just throwing a spectacular fit, more so than it ever did with bad HDDs. (And this thing would be the biggest pain in my flank ever to replace)

New Welovefine Shirts - Kids Stuff and Collage Poster Style! : Welovefine has expanded their stock of shirts yet again! For those of you out there with kids, a whole bunch of stuff for them has popped up. It looks like those primarily focus on neat crayon style. Honestly I wouldn't mind an adult size of them! And if you just can't get enough of those new wal-mart posters, they have both the villian and season two >http://www.equestriadaily.com/2012/10/new-welovefine-shirts-kids-stuff-and.html http://ur1.ca/ahiz5

@eaglehooves ah. Gotcha. Dodge? Our rental dodge caravan has good kick, but we beat on it. Really hard. And the tranny is nearly dead. When driving, sometimes it randomly lurches really hard. And it whines more than a 3 year old without candy.

@renovatedkitchen is this the one you told me about thrashing? Where the gearbox gets stuck sometimes?

@ceruleanspark yeah. It's horrible. But we also cruise at redline it in first sometimes for fun.

"[...]and modifiers such as "PLEASE". This last keyword provides two reasons for the program's rejection by the compiler: if "PLEASE" does not appear often enough, the program is considered insufficiently polite, and the error message says this; if too often, the program could be rejected as excessively polite." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/INTERCAL I want to learn this language

@redenchilada And that was originally undocumented. XD
-
@redenchilada "It is a well-known and oft-demonstrated fact that a person whose work is incomprehensible is held in high esteem. For example, if one were to state that the simplest way to store a value of 65536 in a 32-bit INTERCAL variable is: DO :1 <- #0$#256 any sensible programmer would say that that was absurd. Since this is indeed the simplest method, the programmer would be made to look foolish in front of his boss, who would of course happened to turn up, as bosses are wont to do. The effect would be no less devastating for the programmer having been correct."

Editorial: FiM++, A Pony Programming Language : I was made aware of the supposed existence of a pony programming language (FiM-based, obviously) by a friend of mine in lecture one morning. He said he found it on reddit, but after many, many Google searches I was only able to find a barren, empty Google Code repository with no details or implementations. I was deeply disappointed for a few minutes before I realized I >http://www.equestriadaily.com/2012/10/editorial-fim-pony-programming-language.html http://ur1.ca/ah9f1
