  1. @scribus BUT URBAN DICTIONARY SAYS:" YOU ARE ALL OLD AND OUTDATED!"

  2. @mrmattimation If Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama were running against eachother that makes them rivals. If someone in your 'group' calls you out for doing or being bad, then you are rivals too.

Also, I keep spouting blatantly untrue bullgrape ? Have you ever looked into a mirror ? Also I hope Reddit dies since it is nothing but a circlejerk.

Gaslighting not a tool of the alt-right. It is being employed as a tool by all political sides.

You are blind if you do not see the relevance of being called a something by a super ( Oh but she is not running, so it is ohkay *eyeroll* )

I do not care if she does not stand a chance, I find it hilarious that someone can make a comeback from the brink of falling off the radar by a FUBAR by HRC.

I am afraid I know nothing about her Turkey though. Only thing I know about Turkey is a recent vote in the House of Representatives about acknowledging a genocide. But I would be surprised if Tulsi knows anything about that, even though that is her job.

  3. @mrmattimation Didn't they say the same thing about the current president ?

    https://youtu.be/XvgnOqcCYCM?t=83

Aging like milk that one is.

But to adres what you said. It is not the fact that she is fighting someone who isn't on the ballot, It is that the other party picked a fight and lost in the most spectacular way. I hope you like seeing her on the debate stage ( even if she might not get any microphone time ). Remember who you have to thank for that, someone who has been an insider for YEARS.

  4. @mrmattimation Dammit Matt, if you are about to say something so ridiculously funny warn me first. Now I have to clean the splatter damage from my monitor.

Next thing you are going to tell me that Hillary was not a political rival to Obama back in 2008 either ( 128 delegates too short, you know what I am talking about )

But I know what is wrong here. Go look up the definition of the word 'Rival' and then get back to me.

Oh for the love of... now I have streaks all over my monitor.

  6. Tried watching "Hazbin Hotel" but I turned off the video after 8 minutes. As much as I appreciate the hard work it does not resonate with me. Up to that time it was as "hyperactive" as the internet and that turned me off. There was always something happening without any second to take a breath.

  9. Everytime I look at the inner workings of current day America I am both amazed and amused just a little bit more.

Imagine telling your political rival that she is a Russian asset ( and then the Republican fubar story bending ) only to see your political rival hit over 2% in the DNC approved polls so you get see her be on the debate.

I might be REALLY late to draw that conclusion but it took a while for me to figure out how the DNC polling actually works.

But I am probably boring you all to death with stuff like this, I just had to laugh when I found out how the boomerang effect actually worked in this :)

  10. @drinkingpony I'm staying at home and play with my toys (CNC router, 3D printers, videogames) and do some recreational programming.

  11. @adiwan I feel like I should wish you the best of luck getting to your vacation safely. But I also do not want that to sound patronising. Not sure how to do that really. So I'm just saying it like this I guess.

  12. Well, my search of Overwatch vs Paladins led me through some weird hole that I am now sad that I never got to play Gigantic.

  14. @drinkingpony I'm already extremely heated. Having a smacktalk might push me over the edge. Whatever. I have a month of vacation and don't want to think about work anymore.

  15. So I know it is just a video game, but still, fetching crude oil to run through my forge as coolant as I make Steel. Of which the heated coolant I throw on a huge chunk of frozen crude oil... so I get more usable oil... Hell has frozen over and all you know.

  16. @adiwan Just remind him that you can program robotic arms and can actually remove that bug that crawled up his orifice and died.

Mostly smacktalk ofc, but I reckon you can get a giggle out of it.

  19. Today I had a "F you" moment with a colleague and his developed domain specific modeling language. In my opinion it's a programming language in disguise and not a purely descriptive language. I showed him a flaw at one point but he argued vehemently that the flaw can be ignored. But in the editor the usage was allowed as well as in the documentation (that feature that caused the flaw was only mentioned in passing, and the documentation as a whole is poorly managed). After my vacation I will insist on switching to another project.

  20. Could you imagine living in a world where people live that call themselves 'journalists', but actually only really write hate-bait and click-bait articles. Then one day upper management investigates why the name of the publication is worth grape-all and gets rid of some people that were destructive towards the name of the publication.

Actually, scrap that. Imagine a world where people would call you bad names for summing it up like that.

What a crappy world we live in sometimes.

And I am not just thinking that because Pee-Pee is a funny word used by 12 year olds. I was thinking of Private Pocket's

  24. @scribus Ah, that is sad to hear. Also I never really looked into it but always kinda assumed that the power production grid was mostly in the hand of the states, not individual companies.

  25. @adiwan How terrible is it that I can see the compression blocks of a 720P source on a 1440P screen ?

Now that might sound impressive, but it's really not, If you translate it back to megapixels you can even make a ballpark figure of howmuch it takes for your brain to register the raster.

    Meaning 720P (0.92 MP) on a 1440P ( 3.68 MP ) screen, that is 4 repeats for every pixel. 360P ( 0.17 MP ) on a 4K display ( 8.26 MP ) that's gonna be just under 50. I could probably count that without a pause button.

At least I think I am applying the math correctly here.

  27. @mrmattimation Wait, really ? I though california had plans to put their HV lines underground back in 2002.

And I can not really imagine MV lines setting fire to a tree in the middle of nowhere since why the hell would there be MV lines near 'wild' trees ?

Well, at least now I know how to make a proper google search so I can get some American news sources on this, thanks.

  28. What is going on in California ? I know little to nothing about the electricity infrastructure but aparently it is blacking out WAY too much.

Does it have anything to do with them not using the superior 230V format ?

  29. Just ordered a 5er set of stepper motors. Double the price of only one stepper motor but I will have enough to replace in any case something happens, even in a total meltdown. Also they are compatible with my 3d printers.

  30. @drinkingpony It's a standard Nema 17 1.3 A, 12V stepper motor connected via a coupler to the Z axis lead screw. It's replaceable but still very annoying to the point of making me angry.
