I'm amazed that this place is still up and running. Not to say that's a bad thing, but rather something I hadn't expected. Good for it. Anyway, I've been on a bit of a book kick and have been having trouble getting any good suggestions for something. Preferably audiobooks as they're top notch for listening to while I work. If anyone has a suggestion, let me know. I just finished listening to the American Gods spin off, Anansi Boys by Neil Gaiman. Just for reference.

@thatonestocking i don't know about audiobooks much but if you can find anything by Cormac McCarthy I suggest them. His prose might translate even better by voice.

@mastertdi It's just hard to, for me. Yeah, it sucked, and at the time I felt the impact, but it was over a decade ago. It didn't do anything to me directly. New York might as well be China to me - I've never been there, but I know people who have, and maybe I'll go there sometime, but it's entirely abstract to me. And it isn't like 9/11 was the only Bad Thing to happen to America. Only difference between 9/11 and Pearl Harbor is one actually happened while I was alive. Hell, I've got more connection to the latter - I've actually visited Hawaii once.

@arctic0ares Aye. Pretty late to start reading a fic that length. Mind the prologue needs some revision. Everything else should be up to snuff maybe, and I labeled the one particularly NSFW part in chapter 4 so you can skip it if you like.

Guys I'm SO EXCITED OH MY GOOOOOD. I just saw Captain America 2(It's great by the way you should see it if you haven't already) and I'm really excited about the post credits scene AND the namedrop of half way through. I'm MOSTLY excited because of the correlation between upcoming movies that is bound to happen or at least I hope it does.
