@echron1000 who do you think brought it up? I was there since 12:30 asking people what we should do, I offered Metro as a suggestion because it was in the middle of everything. I also said to look around and see what could be found. Tequila offered the library on RDN while you guys were still there or running around.

@echron1000 !bcbronies Also it's closer, has better scheduling options, is more convenient for Daniel Ingram, and we'd be able to expand to a bigger room if need be.

@echron1000 If I promise you I'm going, I will probably show up between 9:30-9:45, because that's when transit lets me arrive (maybe earlier, idk). If it's 9:55 and I'm not there, chances are I won't show up.

@echron1000 I hope you can cool of, and I again apologize for how poorly the laser tag went. RDNet suddenly stopped giving me updates that week, so I couldn't help it. @thepuzzldpirate !bcbronies Is this the big ol' coliseum Vancouver Library? How do you book rooms, is it online? What hours is it available? How big's the space? Is the internet any good? (Sorry about the barrage of questions)

@tequilasunrise !bcbronies Not necessarily, since @echron1000 is still freaking out about it. So, will neither of those things be provided in the Metrotown meeting room? How big is it? Is there a max capacity? Can someone in the group rent out a projector from their school? If there's free internet at the convention centre, I'll bring my laptop and try to download a 1080p version off Youtube a couple hours before 7:00, there's generally one already uploaded by 6:00 when I'm off work.

@echron1000 I apologize, I didn't realize you said you would pick it up. The reason I didn't help with the laser tag is that RDN stopped giving me updates, so I didn't know it was still happening. I don't have the money in cash right now and I have to get these projects done for school so I'd rather not go down to the bank. Like I said, if you want we can use my credit card to pay, then you don't have to worry about losing your money. I don't mean to belittle you or the research you've done on this, but like you said, we've got six days. A few minutes to tell me the answers to the planning-related questions I've asked wouldn't hurt.

@echron1000 !vancouverbronies: I'm going to say this and you need to take this with a grain of salt but what you are asking is far from reasonable. I OFFERED, a way to pay for this so there ain't any problems. You think I'm going to pay for this thing by myself? I was going to collect at the door WHERE EVERYONE IS GOING. How do you expect for people to take time out of our schedules to give you 5 bucks, I work 64 hours a week, I don't have spare time. Second of all, you completely ran over any of my efforts which I had to turn around and delete anything (Even my posts to Daniel Ingram) related to them. So simply put THIS IS WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE before any worries about money.

@echron1000 !bcbronies Yes. You are. We need to plan this before jumping head-first into gathering funds. I've got a freakishly busy weekend with school projects and can't waste an hour going to Fleetwood and back just to drop off five bucks. If there's a way to plan or pay for this online, I'm willing to give the whole downpayment if everyone can give me 5-10 bucks at the door on the day of the meetup. Is there a max capacity for the room? Is there an internet connection there or at least one at the convention centre? We need to be able to have the episode before we can play it. Is this for a room with a TV or better yet a projector? And you're absolutely certain it closes at 9, right? We need to plan this as much as we can before we pay for it.

@bcbronies @echron1000 But as I said, the time is my bigger concern. I don't want to lose much convention time over this, as fantastic as it will be, and the closer to the Vancouver Convention Centre (or the easier to get to), the better.

@echron1000 !bcbronies If I'm able to make it (still working this out), will you accept me paying $5 at the door and "reserving" me a place on account of where I live? If we get some sort of crazy finale meetup going, I'd like to try to make it if finances and logistics work out. If I can, I'll let you know the week before whether or not I can commit. I'd use Paypal, but it takes too long to transfer funds (literally like 3 weeks or something).

@echron1000 !bcbronies Yeah, what happened with that? My computer decided to stop notifying me on updates to this group right around that time and as far as I know, nothing really came of it. Maybe the best thing for right now (since we're in the heart of the school year) would be to plan a meetup at Fan Expo. It's a ways away, but it's major enough that I think we'll get some nice turnout.
