@anathemicone It won't be a subject that is simply swept under the rug, as easy as that is for some site owners I can not accept that as an answer. I just ask for more time to think and discuss the topic at hand because frankly we have no idea what to do so we need all the help we can get. It's clear that neither Tam or I have the tongue for this sort of thing and now that we realize this we sincerely don't want to rush out another announcement on the matter.

@odin Thank you, I really do hope this can be resolved... We made these forums without much thought. It was just a place for me and my friends to hang out on personally. But it actually exploded into something much more and I hate to say but I'm struggling to keep up. But I don't want that to be the only reason to back down and give it up either. It may have turned into something I never expected but now that it has I really want to help make a fun and enjoyable place for all users to discuss and RP as they wish. I really am hoping for the best after all this clears over.

@juneiperjazz Well I really hope you'll speak with me on a more private means so we can have a much better understanding of how you were hurt and what points exactly. I will admit we're slightly oblivious at this time, just completely overwhelmed how this turned out. I would really appreciate speaking with you and having you going through each point of what has sincerely upset you so we can work on improving not only my, but my entire team's perspectives.

Now to anyone who may want to help and discuss these issues, I would love to hear from you. I want to understand every level and perspective. As the owner who has to make the guidelines for everyone to be happy within the lines I would really appreciate someone to bounce ideas with and discuss this "dramatic" situation. I know there were a couple of people here who mentioned they would like to help best to their abilities and I sincerely believe that. If you happen to have a skype username please message me with it and I'll be happy to add and discuss with you. Because the users who are rage-offended refuse to speak with me I have no idea on how to help them at this time, maybe those of you who have taken a neutral stance or even an opposing but helpful stance to discuss further is welcomed to contact me. I hope to hear from any of you!

@juneiperjazz And because you absolutely refuse to work with us, that hinders us and our site to ever grow into it's true potential. I'm fine with those who don't have time for it, me and my co-founder Tam barely scratch enough time as is. But I'm still willing to discuss with anyone at a later time when our forums have calmed down over the subject.

Again, I would like to apologize to anyone who has been upset at our forums. But the truth of the matter is we can't provide a safe and secure place for the users personal issues just yet on these very personal subjects. Do as I an admin allow these subjects go completely uncontrolled, allow my users to insult one another over slight misunderstandings, flaming and trolling galore when we as staff in training can not handle the situation? I can't believe anyone would suggest such a thing. Why would anyone want an openly hostile place? To allow every subject without control would be sure chaos. For now we ask our users at Equestra.electroneook to please keep our forums about ponies and pony discussion. We have a lot of learning to do before we're officially ready for such a large user base with so many differing opinions. We just want everyone to be on topic at the time until we can expand our site to allow much more than just pony discussion. I hope this is understandable to most.

@juneiperjazz I frankly believe you are self inflicting this upset and hurt onto yourself at this point. We have no ill intentions towards any of our members for any reasons. We just can't control every situation and sadly the discussion of labels of any sort, transgender being just one of many, can't be pressed at this time until we have more guidelines and level headed moderation staff to handle these subjects. I simply asked our users to talk about ponies, not personal subjects on our forums. I'm sorry this threatens you, but I agree this may not be the best place for you. I hope you find all the comfort and happiness where ever you do go and one day we can hopefully find even ground on these subjects.

@odin We at this time are asking our users to please refrain from these subjects. Why? Because we do not have the moderation capabilities to control the situations for all our users to discuss it in a civil manner. And the fact being there is technically no need to even discuss these subjects on our forums, they never were in the first place, we were just mentioning it was not the place for them to discuss it in our chats. I have specifically noted we do not have a "debate section" at this time, why? We don't have the time to moderate it or enough staff to control these discussions should they turn heated which happens often. We just asked for time to grow and that one day we can change for the better to handle these hot subjects in a more open minded environment where no one will feel threatened. Right now I can't give my users that so I ask them to please step down and chat about ponies on my pony chat and forums. c:

But yeah, expecting some replies later. I'm glad to see users both staying and leaving at this point. I'm open to discussion on our current news post. I left up the old one because I sincerely believe in learning from past mistakes, we have nothing to hide and everything to gain from this experience. A lot of learning was made and I'm hoping we will become a stronger forum because of it. C:

@juneiperjazz I sincerely do not apprecaite you spreading half-truths and false information. C: Please go back and reread our news posts. A lot was completely misunderstood and I understand that upset a lot of people including yourself. But please don't go around claiming we're all transphobic when it is clearly not the case at all.

@anathemicone I sincerely agree. It was sloppy, out of context, not well thought out. OUR BADS COMPLETELY. We just no idea how this "problem" developed or what we should do to level with it. I sincerely feel I have found a simple solution and I hope everyone can agree with it.
