  1. @beautifawl There's less of a risk of luck screwing up that approach than luck giving me a rebellious and morally loose son, so I'd rather aim for it. Plus I don't think slaying a son for ruining the family legacy at age 60 or so would be a very happy thing to do in the case luck decides to try and ruin me.

  2. @beautifawl Yeah, it'd be a nice heraldy if I decided to carry on the bloodline when older. No plans for that right now though. If I must leave a legacy then I'd rather it be an order based around moral purity and strenght, so rebirth, meaning also redemption and a new start, is a proper symbol for someone who wants to undertake such a task. I won't be finding saints to offer participation often so redeeming people and having them join is a nice alternative.

  3. @beautifawl A phoenix with a crown and a halo can be easily interpreted as rebirth and righteous authority. Plus it looks nice in gold on a black field, and fits the eagle design of the neck guard and wings on the shoulderplates.

  4. @beautifawl Yeah, due to a lack of proper heraldy I use a stylized crowned phoenix.

  6. @beautifawl # Man, that sucks. From what I've read it sounds like that rifle has been through thick and thin with you. http://rainbowdash.net/attachment/761460

  7. @beautifawl It's probably because that rifle is tangible but your memory isn't, so it serves as a physical reminder of your time in service.

  8. @beautifawl That's why I talked about rechambering. You can probably get or commission a 22LR conversion kit, with a barrel without a flash suppressor, and it should be completely legal and cheap to operate, while still feeling mostly like the original weapon.

  11. @beautifawl Get a legit one and rechamber it to a less expensive caliber. You can always keep the original pieces in case you want to switch back to the original setting for power and range.

  12. @beautifawl You'll eventually get the money to buy one.

  13. @beautifawl I think it's reassuring having someone else living with you because if you hear something in the middle of the night you can just tell yourself it was them and go back to sleep.

  15. @beautifawl I'm just listening to some music alone on my headphones right now since the rest of my family is sleeping.

  17. @beautifawl I love that feeling when you're listening to a great album and you're left in that ponderous state of silence when it ends.

  18. @beautifawl I like a bit of cocoa on top of my coffee, but only a little.

  20. @beautifawl Yeah, it's too sweet for me and the milk makes it way too thick. I have a huge tea collection at my house and have it on a regualr basis.

  22. @beautifawl I usually like my coffee black anyway. However, the real Canadian trademark is the double double (2 milk and 2 sugar).

  23. @beautifawl It's a bit sweet but good for people who don't like the usual bitterness of coffee. In all honesty I'm usually more of a tea drinker anyway.
