  2. @varvisbestmare Hey there, welcome to the site! Fantastic job on this, the detail in the line art for the hair is splendid! We actually have a group for artists on this site, which can be found here -> !art where posting with that tag will let your work be shown on the sidebar as the most recent piece shared on the site. Have fun here and keep up the good work!

  5. @ceruleanspark More or less, yeah. I also mentioned how in terms of game design you, ironically, do less killing in Conquest than in Birthright (the ostensible route of peace loving and kind people).

  6. @ceruleanspark FE Fates Spoilers: Nohr wasn't actually responsible for bombing the square in Hoshido and killing Mikoto. It was done by the game's "true" antagonist, Anankos, who is from Valla (a sort of astral plane you visit in Revelation) to help incite war among the nations. As a side note, the irony of Hoshiso being sold as peace loving is that Birthright's ludonarrative is considerably more violent than Conquest's, as you kill your way through Nohr to finish the former and spare as many people as possible in the latter.

  19. @razzleberry I can respect that. There's certainly a market and appeal for Pop Figures which I can't deny.

  20. Also pineapple is unequivocally a top tier pizza topping

Saturday, 21-May-16 20:03:37 UTC from MuSTArDroid
  21. @razzleberry I can understand that. Whether their cheapness is necessarily a bad thing in a larger picture perspective is certainly up for debate, but in my case as someone who generally prefers (but can hardly if ever afford) more pricey figures, Pop Figures just leave something to be desired for me. They're effectively the McDonald's of figures, and they serve their purpose well enough in that regard, but it's for that same reason that I don't like them. As a sidenote, I don't really like the way they look either. They're not expressive enough to really come off as endearingly cute as give the impression to me of just being kinda stumpy-looking.

  22. @tiffany no probbo

Saturday, 21-May-16 15:28:43 UTC from MuSTArDroid in context
  23. @tiffany The irony is that they're not actually pricey for figures. I don't really care if someone does like them, that's their prerogative, but I don't like them because they're cheaply made and mass produced for easy purchase. The whole model of pop figures isn't to make nice figures so much as to amass a bunch of licenses to make cheap figures for every piece of pop culture.

  30. @mrmattimation In fairness, as reductive as me saying this is, lots of modern animation simply also doesn't have the budget lots of classic animated works did.
