  1. I was in a bad way when I first came here and now it feels like I’m on a better track. Thank you to all who interacted with me here. You likely kept me alive.

  5. If for some strange reason I ever take off in popularity and people find this, they’ll simply know I wasn’t always loudly insane.

  7. @tiff same. I knew how the last episode was going to go but was disappointed nonetheless.

  8. @tiff kind of. If it ended before the last episode, definitely.

  9. @mrmattimation I thought the same until I had a fevre this morning. So now I’m self-quarantining.

  10. @scribus a former co-worker of mine said this a lot. An automotive technician who relied on Youtube. It became a growing trend at that shop so I had to leave basically.

  15. Mat be a little late for a calming scene but here one is. De facto car life has some benefits when you get free parking in state parks closed for winter. http://rainbowdash.net/url/875385

  16. @thismightbeauser My apologies, the reaction comes from my own intolerance of closed-mindedness. To sum it up it's like when Luanne said "I hate hate" in King of the Hill

  17. @thismightbeauser “grow a thicker skin lol” Would be a great retort to that. Furthermore hate begets depression so well, too bad for them.

  23. Cyclotouring is definitely the life for me. Got back from a 6-day tour in Iowa and Wisconsin and am already planning the next one. Nebraska and the Dakotas would be fantastic.

  24. @scribus i read a story about a cyclist in NY that went apePotato Knishes on some Uber driver with a U-lock. Hell, gotta do what you gotta do

  26. @scribus bears are a thing for sure to plan for if you go to the woods. I went out to the Badlands and as far as the sand dunes in Nebraska. Kept full camping gear just in case. The big problem I can forsee is warmth in the winter.

  27. @scribus you know, this apartment has had me thinking of living in a car. Done it for a week before and one gets used to it. Would be a great way to save up for land ownership one day. And ideal when tou find remote places.
