Cyclotouring is definitely the life for me. Got back from a 6-day tour in Iowa and Wisconsin and am already planning the next one. Nebraska and the Dakotas would be fantastic.

@scribus bears are a thing for sure to plan for if you go to the woods. I went out to the Badlands and as far as the sand dunes in Nebraska. Kept full camping gear just in case. The big problem I can forsee is warmth in the winter.

@scribus you know, this apartment has had me thinking of living in a car. Done it for a week before and one gets used to it. Would be a great way to save up for land ownership one day. And ideal when tou find remote places.
