  1. Fire Emblem Fates: "You can either side with the peace loving and kind people of Hoshido, or a group of people who suicide bombed a market place"

    1. @ceruleanspark FE Fates Spoilers: Nohr wasn't actually responsible for bombing the square in Hoshido and killing Mikoto. It was done by the game's "true" antagonist, Anankos, who is from Valla (a sort of astral plane you visit in Revelation) to help incite war among the nations. As a side note, the irony of Hoshiso being sold as peace loving is that Birthright's ludonarrative is considerably more violent than Conquest's, as you kill your way through Nohr to finish the former and spare as many people as possible in the latter.

      1. @narwhal I didn't decode these, but let me guess: The entire Nohrian plot line is about killing off whatever evil has turned their king into a massive kiwi, and the mysterious third story is the culmination of that

        1. @ceruleanspark More or less, yeah. I also mentioned how in terms of game design you, ironically, do less killing in Conquest than in Birthright (the ostensible route of peace loving and kind people).
