@fallinwinter Unfortunately TV media has that sort of sway, and I just don't want to have out community in a hole to dig out of. Anyway, I don't see this ending too poorly for us, even if the worst comes of this show. This is an unbelievably strong group.

@fallinwinter The problem is trying to find that balance of 'love and tolerance' vs public image. There's no possible way to represent an entire community through a handful of individuals, and when it's a matter of protecting how the masses view us before they can choose for themselves, I'd rather not have our chances blasted from isolated extreme cases. I personally disagree with the way these media outlets handle it anyway, but the PSA was primarily to keep people wary that they WILL pull out any quirks and twist them into stereotypes that affect us all.

@darklycute Awesome! I actually found out that the friend I was staying with last week lives ONE BLOCK from Studio B. We never abused this knowledge, but I do want to contact them soon.

@afancorp I'm skeptical as to how ambitious of an event 'convention' implies, but I'm all for helping out the larger scale meetups in the area! Anything in the works already?
