  4. @coffeecream @bitshift I wasn't going to unban everyone en-masse. I was thinking about Rarity and Zeldatra, both of whom have strikes I personally disagree with. On the other hand Awesam15 absolutely deserves the strike he earned himself.

  5. @bitshift Jup. This bugs.launchpad.net article sort of blames partmon. And knowing how you normally install OS's I am going to say it crashes before the whole partitions thing, OR before the "can you test your keyboard for me ?" thing

  6. @bitshift Oddly, my phone thought I meant "Minti", not money. I wonder if there's anything to that? /cc @minti

  9. @bitshift I think I am willing to empty my ENTIRE hard drive if that means I can install this thing. The only mountain of a problem which I am looking up against... Is relearning how to reinstall and reconfigure GRUB... It should not be that hard but still, this thing is archaically slow in my oppinion.

  10. @bitshift To be fair to Ubuntu. This laptop should have died a couple of years ago. And unless if it is properly loaded right now. I am going to blame partmon ( Which I believe is a deamon for partitioning )

  23. @bitshift It was just a joke, but whatever. What do you want me to say to you? "Yes, you're right, surely you must be subhuman for not being able to handle the simplest of tasks! Oh, I made the wrong choice putting up with you as a friend!"? Let's just say you're right and get it over with. You can't handle doing some things. So start making a list of ways to make it easier to deal with it. You don't have to have immediate results no matter how much you might pressure yourself to believe otherwise. Just chip away at it piece by piece.

  27. @bitshift Sigh... okay. Here's what I'd do then on days like this. murdock off. Go back to bed, meander around the internet, play whatever. "Normal life" can cherries off. Make today about you, and, y'know, if you really want to be good at stuff like art, practice. mangoesing in a sea of cherries isn't going to do grapes.

  28. @bitshift I guess you're probably not working today (If you are... please don't focus on me! ;)) so it might do you good to watch some funny videos, or listen to some uplifting music or whatever you can think of to do to lift your spirits. If you wanna talk it out with me, I'm here. :)

  29. @bitshift I'm not saying it does! It's not that big of a deal. It might be when you've been contracted by some company or person to design something. But the skin was something you did simply because you felt the urge to. I'm completely okay with the state of the skin. What I'm not okay with is you beating yourself up over something you have no control over. You can't be expected to be great at everything or to have the best focus, and I'd be the pot calling the kettle black if I yelled at you about any of your flaws. Obviously I don't know anything about other 'obligations' you've made for yourself to others, so I can't comment on those. But you're a good person, Bit. And lack of focus or skills or what-the-papayas-ever doesn't make you a bad person. I'm sorry to have sparked this reaction from you.
