And at the end of the day, as we lay our little heads, down on our pillows in our cozy little beds, we think back to the events that transpired, and in the back of our little minds, we know things are dire. But was it all worthwhile, trying to change your mind? Was it wrong, trying to make you think in kind? Turning back the clock is impossible they say, so once the day is over, as on my bed I lay, my mind begins to hover, and I begin to cry. For in my mind's eye, all I can see, is the way that you looked....that you looked at me. The way your eyes pierced, straight into my soul, the way you looked so fierce, so out of my control. There was nothing I could do, as our fight began anew, to stop my tears from flowing, or have my fears stop growing. So I stopped asking myself why, climbed out of my despair, and came to say #goodbye

Today, in the lunch qeue, I was standing behind my mate Alex. We talked about today's options: curry and flan. We both wanted curry. He said to me "Sam, you go first". I went ahead of him in the qeue and he followed shortly after. Then, we both saw, there was only one porion of curry. I said "You know, Alex, the flan has onion. I think I'll have that" And I left the last porion of curry for him. The woman serving on the other side of the counter said "Alex, you have a good friend there..." I didn't hear the rest, I moved on to pay for my flan.
