Clash Haywire (clash)

  1. Meeting today? I know I'm going to have to drop by the Sentry Box eventually to pick up D&D 5th Ed. books for a new campaign.

  5. It's difficult to be social sometimes, that's for sure.

  6. Looks like this place has been pretty active, even after all these years

Saturday, 09-Jan-16 22:25:48 UTC from web
  7. Hello all. Long time no see.

Saturday, 09-Jan-16 22:23:59 UTC from web in context
  8. Wondering if this group is still active lately. I drop by every now and then just to see what's up.

  9. Long time no see. Just saw the 'new' movie. Not bad. Pretty impressive how they've preserved the feelings of adventure, magic, and sincerety for all this time, and without falling (or at least falling fully) into the "topical trap" that a lot of long-running cartoons tend to.
Really wish there were more cartoons like this.

  10. I wonder, considering the amount of MLP fan content (and how much of it dances the copyright-line)
Is there a dedicated group of bronies interested in creating legally-distinct, or better yet, fully original content in the way of stories, cartoons, and games?
If not, can we form a group dedicated to taking what we like about MLP and making original content that we CAN legally monetize or otherwise call our own, but would appeal to the MLP fanbase?
Speaking of which, I heard that the group responsible for "Fighting is Magic" eventually formed their own unique fighting game out of the code after Hasbro dropped the hammer, or did that turn out not to be true?

  11. Wow, this place has upgraded lately, it seems

Saturday, 14-Dec-13 22:35:26 UTC from web in context
  12. @neurario ah, thanks! I'm hoping to do some gaming live streaming once I get some brony Monster Hunter parties together.

Thursday, 14-Mar-13 06:56:44 UTC from web in context
  13. @neurario oh, no problem! My loss for missing it

Thursday, 14-Mar-13 06:54:33 UTC from web in context
  14. @neurario I've been waiting for the link on the stream, is it in your profile?

Thursday, 14-Mar-13 06:52:34 UTC from web in context
  15. @celestialmoonlight non-existant, unfortunately. Yours?

Thursday, 14-Mar-13 06:52:09 UTC from web in context
  16. @celestialmoonlight Well, that's good then! At least you're bringing some warm colours into the chat tonight.

Thursday, 14-Mar-13 06:49:55 UTC from web in context
  17. @celestialmoonlight oops, I had deleted the at-name, but I guess the post reinserted it when I hit "send" It did the same thing for two posts I was trying to make while watching the stream, but had nothing to do with the stream, so I had to delete them.

  18. Seems like a lot of people pick the cool colours, as opposed to the warm ones, for their ponies. At least the people who are online at this time.

  19. @theglark (cont'd) so a pistol is perfect for me

Thursday, 14-Mar-13 06:40:17 UTC from web in context
  20. @theglark wow, that one looks pretty good, too. I'm a pretty sneaky player, I'll try and fire as little as possible in outdoor arenas.

  21. @renovatedkitchen my graphics card explodes if I try to PC game and skype at the same time. I love having the Wii U and the way it's implemented its features without self-destructing like that. Miiverse is basically like a gamers' Utopia. If someone dislikes a game or feature, they actually have a valid reason and you can discuss it, rather than them being a blind hater and trying to convert people like one of those religious nuts.

  22. @theglark I was looking at a paintball handgun the other day, it was a tiberius I believe

Thursday, 14-Mar-13 06:31:30 UTC from web in context
  23. @renovatedkitchen I find that there are a lot of upcoming exclusives for my Wii U that I want to see brought to fruition, rather than waiting for a maybe-port to a maybe-console or PC especially after last generation's shenanigans with the PSN leak and the XBL Gold-membership advertisements in the dashboard, or buying a PC disc that installs a client onto your computer, into which it sends a download code, from which you end up download the entire game.

Thursday, 14-Mar-13 06:25:17 UTC from web in context
  24. The video stream is a feature I missed the last time I was here. I guess it's a good way to keep everyone up to date on the show

Thursday, 14-Mar-13 06:18:47 UTC from web in context
  25. @renovatedkitchen I'm not interested in system specs, but new gameplay experiences. The Wii U offers more ways to play, plus the ways already offered by its competition, without blowing out the price via more GHz and RAM.

Thursday, 14-Mar-13 06:14:46 UTC from web in context
  26. @renovatedkitchen I'm hoping to see some monster hunters gathering around my city, So I'm a Nintendo kind of guy.

  27. @yodelerty I'd like to think that there's a natural force of sorts that plays the role of a tree or liver, taking negative energies and cleansing, rejuvenating them. Society could certainly use such a thing, no?

Thursday, 14-Mar-13 06:08:58 UTC from web in context
  28. @neurario oh yes, definitely! Add me on G+ if you like!

Thursday, 14-Mar-13 06:01:10 UTC from web in context
  29. @yodelerty all I can really say is that IME, life is a sensory overload, and a lot of it leans on the sad side. Just knowing that a way to end it all exists, is actually kind of reassuring, and gives me the drive to see what I really can do in this life, helps me let go of things that I can't hold onto, and helps me hold onto things that other people might let go of. It helps me put off rushing into whatever lies beyond, and let me gain some more experience in this messed-up place before trying for a better run in wherever I go next, if there's even a place to go next after this.

  30. (cont'd) it's something I was considering doing for myself, going on depressants so my depression in normal-state is reduced.
