@colfax I ask myself that question all too often. I find it better to just try and change where it's headed, instead of just ponder where it'll end up.

@colfax yep. We'll see what we can do. I think it'll depend on luck as far as tomorrow goes. If you end up being unable to travel in time tomorrow we can still shoot for Friday, but those things I mentioned in the DM would have to work out on your end, as well as what I have to work out on my end. There's a good chance that he'll be able to give you at least a one-way ride to or from the shelter if he's still available tomorrow like it sounded like.

@colfax Did you ask the guy about getting a ride tomorrow? You said he's not planning to meet you at the apartment? Is it possible to get the all clear from the police in time for the move to happen tomorrow? If he's unable, Ashdown may be able to put you in touch with somebody else who can help on the 8th and maybe even give you a ride. How exorbitant would a taxi be for that first long leg of the trip?

@colfax and you said your time limit for getting your stuff out is when? If Mr. Ashdown isn't able then I could ask him for the number of a guy who's not too busy.

@colfax sounds rough but not impossible honestly. The bus can't be that expensive can it?

@colfax so you need to travel 25-ish miles to get to your storage and old apartment? Why won't a bus work?

@colfax I want to help you. I really do. You don't deserve... Any of the crap that's happened to you in the past 90 days. The one thing I almost tried could land you in much more legal trouble than it's worth, and I apologize for that. grape. If I've ever felt like a kiwiter human being than I do right now, I can't think of it. I promise I will find a way to help. You have my word.

@colfax Yeeeaaah, I'd get the eff out of that city as fast as I could. That's not one of the better places to be in this country, anyway. If you have any means to get out and find work somewhere else, I'd recommend it.

@colfax yeah. I know a bit about close long distance friends having moved between the midwest and east coast a couple times.
