  1. A local band I dig is putting out a new record within the month, locally they're pretty popular, and they did the recording themselves. I'm going to mix it, but there's a track on one of their older records that I dig, and I'd like to re-record it. Give it a proper recording and mix. I want to do this because I want to hear it, but also to get a recording credit on the record. People will hear that track and go 'oooh this sounds better than the rest of the record!', maybe look at the credits, and see my name. But I dunno if doing free work for a credit is bad business or not.
