    If it weren't for the ability to save anywhere and unlimited times, I would never be able to beat a single Sonic 3 and Knuckles special stage. II find them really difficult and in all fairness, not that fun. The half pipe special stages from Sonic 2 were so much better IMO. !vgp

      @mrn4rmn4rm I think a lot of people did, actually, they bought the half pipes back but not the ones from Sonic 3 and Knuckles.

      @leonkfox My opinion is the opposite. Blue Sphere is incredibly fun and the special stages in Sonic 2 are just awful. But let's be honest here, Heroes had the worst special stages. !vgp

        @rollout Sonic 2's Special stages were amazing, and while the Heroes ones were far from great I certanily didn't find them to be bad o.O

            @rollout You did have control in the Sonic 2 Special Stages o.O If anything, I felt like I had more control over the character in 2 than 3, by a considerable margain. (sp)

      @squidbombed I prefer 2's Special Stages over 3's Blue Spheres (although both are fun to play), plus 2's Special Stage music is ICONIC! :D
