Sometimes I do things that seem nice or friendly to me and don't seem like a very bad idea. And then within a week I'm kicking myself for it. Makes me wonder if doing things for others that I wouldn't have done regardless is a bad idea. I'm just. Really doubting my way of thinking about other people right now. Not sure my emotional state is wroth it. And as I've said before, letting others control your emotions is only steps away from letting them control your mind and body. May be best not to leave those links laying around.

@thelastgherkin That said, it doesn't erase what I'm feeling now. Nor does it stop the tears. I suppose it may just need to run its course now that it has begun.

@thelastgherkin I just hate that a set of irrational behaviors I follow like clockwork has equally as much power over me as say someone slapping me in the face and disgracing my family with derogatory, dishonorable terms.

@retl Hey, nothing's wrong with irrational behaviours. I have several compulsive things like having to wash my hands three times and needing a different butterknife for each slice of toast and hitting myself when I'm anxious. But that's just a small part of who I am! And it can totally be a small part of who YOU are. (But if we really want to make this scientific I could slap you in the face and insult your family etc.)
