@ceruleanspark Eeyup. A few nights ago, the same thing happened, but it couldn't be fixed because our Internet Service Provider was having trouble. It was a problem because I couldn't tell the meetup about what I was going to be doing.

@ceruleanspark Yeah, last season. I figured it my again, but I was really hoping I'd be wrong. Supposedly its going to be the sameish time span from last season.

@gangstashy The animators said something to the effect of having already done Discord and the corrupted versions of the mane cast for last season, but didn't use them. It was when they were talking about the grey-Rainbow-Dash image that cropped up.

@gangstashy @ceruleanspark Well, there are mixed reports on this actually. Jayson Theissen said it was always intended to be the start of Season 2, but it was worked on back to back with the first series, perhaps creating the confusion. One of the animation staff... I think Sibsy... claimed it was intended as the series finale and pushed back.

@pawnheart It already being partially in existence is supported by the image to the top left of this page, and a couple of the as-yet unaired season 2 caps that came out before. Perhaps both parts exist, but the stuff for afterwards needs a little more time to finish off. Or maybe they've finished the rest of the season already but not part 2 of this episode yet. Who knows. They're not gonna tell us, certainly.

@ceruleanspark There seems little doubt that the story was worked on after the Season One episodes proper... however it is the purpose of the episode that seems to be disputed. Ah well... i don't actually have that much of a problem with the air-dates being staggered a bit... I mean, I want more pony, for sure, but the hiatus certainly won't be as long as the Summer break, and its not like the two-parter won't give us plenty to chew over.

@pawnheart Well, at least they take less time to make than new episodes of Futurama. Those allegedly take a full year to write and produce, and they're not even good anymore.
