That's one thing about America - you can market overt self-destruction right to the public with no sense of irony. I quote - "Really, really hungry? HEART ATTACK SPECIAL - 4 hamburger patties, pastrami, bacon, cheese. With french fries." Working in advertising is soul-killing.
-
@scribus I'm not american and that sounds delicious as all hell.

@ceruleanspark It's not so much that it sounds bad as it is that it starts off with HEART ATTACK in large unfriendly letters.
-
@scribus Well it's an unfriendly concept really. It'd look weird in lovey-dovey lettering.

@ceruleanspark That it would. Maybe the contrast might make for a bold artisitc statement about the [artsy-babble] of [pseudo-psychiatry] inherent in [broad generalations about humanity].
-
@scribus Yes. Yes. Shallow and Pedantic.

@scribus None of that nonsense, it just boils down to the simple fact that people are stupid, an individual can be intelligent but as a group they are dribbling imbiciles.
-
@colfax "A Person is smart. People are dumb, panicky, stupid animals and you know it".

@sinsofhope Yeah, I know, Tommy Lee Jones, he speaks truth.
-
@colfax I don't think it's possible to explain how entirely true that one statement really is to anyone who've never had to work with the general public.

@sinsofhope I used to work in a computer repair shop...
-
@colfax You do get it then. Mine was trail by fire at an theme park, in Orlando. Isn't amazing how many lives you can "Ruin" without trying? *Eyeroll*

@scribus These are the joys of being an adult and paying the bills. You kill yourself a little bit more everyday your forced to encounter the stupidity of human-kind en mass to survive in any form of comfort.
