@pinhooves I think the max is 200. 10 stars. Now that you've seen one on the server, it might be worth you looking for floating islands. Theres always good stuff up there. Items that boost jump height, negate falling damage, and a sword that drops stars on your enemies when you swing it.

@pinhooves If I hadn't been nice and shared all my silver with Flaxxy for helping me find it, I'd probably have enough for that. I've got 25 bars in storage now. I'm still in full copper, but I have a band of regeneration and my +1 goggles of Cerulean, so I'll probably be fine.

@ceruleanspark Dinner was great, had spaghetti. Book I'm on is "Priestess of the White" by Trudi Canavan. Last book-buying trip I made it a point to pick up books I'd never heard of, so far it's working for me.

@scribuskrueger I use Amazon's recommendation service on my Kindle for that. Also, Feedbooks. I have read some weird crap as a result.

@ceruleanspark heh I just went to the store and looked at what interested me. I've also followed suggestions from a writing podcast, and there's always the traditional "suggestions from friends/relatives." When I worked at a used car auction, I'd find them in impounds. Along with all manner of NSFW discoveries... I'll have to look into that non-Amazon one you'd mentioned (confound Mustard, I can't see what you'd said as I type!). :p

@scribuskrueger Feedbooks is all creative commons licensed stuff. At the end of each book it has a "If you liked this, you might also like:" thing with further suggestions. If you're into hard-scifi, you could do worse than investigating the works of Peter Watts.

@scribuskrueger He got bitten by some crazy spider and got tissue necrosis. There are a sequence of posts of this huge post-surgical open wound interspersed with pictures of his cat. He tied a balloon around his cats waist so he could see where it was whilst he was laid up.
