  1. The iMacs at university were bootcamped, but most people do not know how to get them to switch modes. I would reboot them into Windows and leave them there just to frustrate people.

    1. @ceruleanspark It's for their own good.

      1. @captainrainbow It was certainly for MY own good. It meant I had the room to myself most of the time, because the only people who'd go in there wanted the macs to use OSX for media stuff. They'd see they were all in Windows mode, not know how to fix it, and then leave.

    2. @rotation Rooms full of them. Northampton university had just gotten done spending an inordinate amount of money upgrading its campus and building a new IT wing. Lovely building with an amazing VR lab.

    3. @ceruleanspark I've wanted to go into some of the Macs at my old school through python and start using them secretly for giggles after learning about it in my programming class that year.

    5. @rotation Certainly cooler. One of the labs has head-tracking active 3D projection screens built into all 4 walls. It is essentially a holodeck.

    6. @rotation Is that the same font the use on the "Keep Calm and Carry On" posters on the !cia group page?

    7. @rotation We upgraded an old building, which means we've got rooms full of computers but no air conditioning.

    10. @rotation Is that the Adam Smith building?

    11. @rotation Ah, same sorta style. Makes me feel old. I mean the Adam Smith building WAS new... about 5 years ago. Do you have any lectures in the multi-storey carpark-tastic Boyd Orr building?

    12. @rotation Oh... I'm... sorry.

    13. @rotation Well, as I recall (from sneaking into a sociology lecture... too kewl for skewl, I was), the lecture theatres there were pretty decent.
