      1. @rnbwdashiswin I think my favourite thing about this email is that it actually carries on further than I've capped. All of the Mane 6, Celestia, and AJ's goddamned truck are in there.

        2. @ceruleanspark Hay. Easy on the goddamned truck. As I mentioned before, I believe it was merely excised from the final cut of 'Applebuck Season'... please... humour me.

            1. @ceruleanspark 'Bridle Closet'. It was revised at the last minute to some murdock about a curse.

              1. @pawnheart I hate plot episodes....

                1. @zach121k and you cannot lie. All you other brothers can't deny, when a 'corn walks in with a strap across her face and an extraneous plot, you are DONE.

    3. @ceruleanspark Yeah, they keep recommending me the 'Sweet Apple Barn' set... creepily, the only one of the three UK Applejack sets that I don't own...

    4. @rotation I ordered Pinkie through Amazon.co.uk though. This is an email from .com, which I run through a different email that I set up to get into their android store early.

    5. @rotation Ceiling @mrdragon is watching me frolic.

    6. @rotation They can't be matching IP's or home addresses because that'd leak data about my buying habits in a way the DPA would papayas themselves about. Browser cookies or something maybe?

    7. @rotation I don't remember, to be honest. I've had the odd pony recommendation before, but never a 100% pony email from them.

    8. @rotation They know your Internet history

Wednesday, 12-Oct-11 10:46:00 UTC from web
    9. @rotation I'm 90% sure they use a tracking cookie with a machine specific UUID to do that. That way, when you do log in from the same machine they can reconcile you with your not-logged in self.

    10. @rotation Well, uh. Packets. Ethernet. Uh. Cards. Mac addresses. Multicasts! *Runs*

    11. @rotation I remember spending a long time memorising the layers in the OSI model for my networking class. I don't think it's ever actually come up since.

    13. @rotation Good news: None of actual network administration is about it either.
